There's A Fine Line Between Love And Hate

Chapter 1

"Ready to see daddy Lil?" Nina asked her daughter.

"Yes Yes Yes Yes!" Lily replied. She was always excited to see her daddy.

"Okay lets go then baby."

When Nina and Conor were married, they both moved to Chicago to try to live a fairly simple life, but Conor being high class, everything they owned was in the millions. After the bitter divorce, Nina moved back to Maryland with custody of Lily while Conor left and went back to Dublin.

Nina and her daughter boarded the aircraft, and they both headed to Ireland.

Meanwhile in the Ferell Manor, Conor was in his office making out with his new fling Dina Sanders. He knew he wouldn't fall in love with her but he doesnt care.

"Oh Conor I'm tired of us just making out and having meaningless sex in your office, I wanna move further with 'us', I even want to see your daughter, I mean I could be a potential step mom" Dina said.

"Lets not get ahead of ourselves my dear, look I already told you Dina, I just want to move REALLY slow wtih us okay! And you'll get to see Lily, just dont talk to her about us, got that?!!"

"Ugh fine"

As Nina touched down to Ireland, she and her daughter were greeted by a limo and driven to the Manor. As they arrived, Lily was beyond excited, she couldnt stop jumping.

"Sweetheart calm down or you'll work yourself out" Nina said

"Sorry mommy I'm just so happy to see papa." Lily replied giggling.

Nina couldnt help but smile, she was pleased to see her daughter all energetic to see her dad. She rang the doorbell and was greeted by one of Conor butlers whom she had known since they were married.

"Martin!!!!!" Nina said hugging the butler.

"Hello my dear! I'm so delighted to see you and my little princess Lilian."

"Hi Mr. Martin, I missed you" Lily said joing in the hug.

Nina and Lily stepped into the manor and made themselves comfortable.

Meanwhile, Conor was upstairs sucking face with Dina, suddenly he heard a little girl's voice from downstairs. He immediately knew who it was, his baby girl. Conor pushed Dina aside and ran downstairs, he knew Dina was upset that he left her, but he didnt care.

"LILIAN?" Conor shouted while looking for her.

Then he saw a little golden haired girl running out from the kitchen towards him. A smile instantly grew on his face.

"DADDY!!!!"

"BABYYYY!"

Conor ran towords his daughter, picked her up and embraced her lovingly. Tears spilled from his face as he hugged her. He missed his daughter so much, he also missed Nina but he refused to say that.

"Dont cry daddy." Lily said wiping his tears.

"Thank you sweetheart." Conor replied as he kissed her forehead.

"Lily where are you baby?" Nina asked. As she went into the living room she saw Lily and Conor hugging.

"Hello Conor."

"Hello Nina, It's great to see you again" Conor replied, In actuality, he was really happy to see Nina. Although they couldnt stand each other anymore, he was genuinely content seeing her.

After their bitter divorce, people thought that Conor was going to be relieved, but he definitely wasnt. It took a toll on him, to know that Nina who was the only person that he ever tried to change for, was leaving him. So he swore that he'd never let her get in between his life and new romances.
