Chapter 6

It's been a month since Nina has been in Ireland and life up there was great. She and Connor have been working on their relationship and are better than ever.

She was currently in the backyard with Lily and her new puppy that her dad bought for her. She named the puppy Flower.

"Mommy can I play dress up with Flower?" Lily asked.

"Umm I don't know sweetheart, I don't think Flower wants to wear those tight clothes that you bought for her."

"Pleaseeeee momma!!"

"Okay okay Lil, just don't over do!"

Just then Connor came in the backyard and snaked his arms around her.

"Hi beautiful!"

She turned around and kissed him.

"Hey baby,where've you been?"

"Oh I've been running errands whole day. I'm so tired."

"Aww poor baby."

"You know....you can make me feel better Nina! How about we go upstairs for a little while huh?"

"Baby are you trying to get in my pants?" She asked laughing

"Is it working?"

"Hmmmm yeah, but not now. Probably a little later okay?"

"Fine by me, once I'm getting laid today!"

Nina playfully hit him and pecked his lips.

Suddenly Lily began crying, they ran up to her and saw that she fell and bruised her knee.

"Oh sweet pea you hurt yourself?!,!" Connor asked

"Yeah!" She said crying

Connor picked her up and kissed her tears, he swayed her from side to side trying to calm her down.

"Don't cry baby, it's only a little bruise okay, let's go inside and put a band aid on it."

They walked back inside and went into the bathroom,

Connor took out some ointment and a band aid.

"Now this is gonna sting a little bit okay"

Lily nodded still crying as he opened the ointment, as he smeared it on her knee she began crying even more,

"Daddy it burns!!"

"I know baby girl, but it'll all be over soon okay!"

"I'm scared." She said softly

Connor couldn't help but feel bad, his little baby was in pain,

"Lilian? Look at papa, can you sing Twinkle Twinkle little star for me?"

She nodded and proceeded to sing, by the time she was finished, Connor was already done placing the ointment and band aid on her knee.

"That was very good sweetheart, I'm all finished and you didn't feel a thing,"

"Youre done daddy? That was really easy."

"Yes and I'm so proud of you, my little brave munchkin!" He said pinching her cheeks,

"Thank you daddy!"

"You're welcome baby, I love you. Gimme kiss"

"I love you too!" She pecked her daddy's mouth and hugged him tightly.

He picked her up and carried her downstairs to watch tv. Luckily her favorite show was on, The Backyardigans.

He saw Nina and she had a worried look on her face,

"Baby you alright?"

Nina looked up with tears flowing from her eyes,

"I just got an email from 'him'. She said, not wanting to say the name in front of Lily.

"I think he's found where I am......."
