Jin|>

I took a few steps down the hall before I had to heave the trash bag onto my shoulder again because it kept rolling across my back. I grunted but slowly began making my way downstairs.

But suddenly, when I swung it to the side again to carry it by hand, I heard a startled yelp. I turned my head to see what it was, but I stumbled over a bit. I quickly caught my footing, and looked up.

I saw someone familiar. Someone I had seen a few days ago. The candy store guy... What was his name? I couldn't remember it clearly. Nam... Nam something.

He was staring at me with surprise on his face. I realized that when I swung the trash bag off my shoulder, I had bumped him as he was coming up the stairs.

"I'm sorry!" I said to him. He was holding the railing like he was going to fall backwards. "I really didn't mean to uh, bump you with this."

I smiled when I saw him calm down. His hand relaxed around the railing, and a smile appeared on his face. "It's fine." He chuckled.

"I should have been more careful while carrying something like this down the stairs." I mumbled, averting my eyes from his. He was definitely the candy store guy. His eyes were still those deep pools of brown that I wouldn't stop thinking about a few days ago.

"No don't worry about it." He shook his head at me and his smile widened. "Anyways, do I know you?" He asked me, starting at me intently. He noticed me, who would have thought.

Then it hit me. I knew where I had recognized him before. He lived in this building and he was my neighbor.

"Actually, I was fixing to ask you the same thing." I looked back at him, shifting my gaze slowly. "But a few days ago, I think I bought a lollipop from you." I still had the candy wrapped up in the wrapper on the counter. It's taste was too good to waste so I wouldn't finish it off just yet. I smiled at him, hoping he would recognize me after telling him about the lollipop.
