“Someone has to guard you, and that’s going to be me” Jack stated.
“I thought me being in this school was safe enough, where I didn’t need a bodyguard anymore?” I said to him raising an eyebrow
“Doesn’t hurt to be too safe” He said smirking, that ass-hole is just using my safety as another way to stay close to me.

~*Jack’s P.o.v*~
“Doesn’t hurt to be too safe” I said smirking. Lori shot glares at me.
Then someone clear there throat, I turned back to realized that little piece of shit was still here. I growled at him. How dare he claim my women as his bride, I rather go back to jail for actually murdering someone than let him touch her.
“Lauren we need to do what is best for our race, you can’t be fooling around with animals”
My fist tighten, I barred my teeth warning him to back the fuck off. “What’s this bullshit about “our race”?”
Lori sighed, “Heath wants me and him to repopulate our race since there is only three of our kind known to existence”
“To hell with that your mine” I turned to the guy named Heath glaring at him, “The one thing she will bring into this world is our children, not yours” I growled.
Lori stared at me with wide eyes, “What?”
I turned to her shocked face and smiled, I decided to ignore the guy and walk up to Lori, I grabbed her by the waist pulling her against me, she immediately placed her hands on my chest trying to stop me but, I was stronger than her. I leaned down whispering in her ear for only us to hear.
“I plan to plant my seed inside you; I want you to hold my child and become my wife” I whispered to her, knowing in my heart she is my life.
She froze against me; I could hear her heart beating hard and fast against her chest. I cupped her cheek tilting her head to face me. She face was completely flushed, I smiled. She still loves me I know it.
I leaned down just an inch away from her lips, “I love you Lori” I said kissing her, after a second she finally closed her eyes and kissed back.
Suddenly I felt something hard hit me behind my back, I pulled back groaning in pain, falling on my knees.
I turned around to see red flames on Heath’s fists.
