He smiled widely at me, with me still under him. “So you love me? And you’re willing to fight everyone off for me?” He said smirking.
I blushed at my own words; I turned away from his face looking at the wall that suddenly looked so interesting. “Maybe, just a little” I whispered.
“Good, because, I’m completely, deeply in love with you” He said, which made me flip my head back at him. He kissed me again but, softly and lovingly.
“I love you Lori” I smiled, pulling his wet shirt down to close the gap between us.
“I love you too Jack” I said against his lips.

“Jack I don’t mean to be a mood killer but, I’m still in a towel.” I said blushing, with him still on top of me.
He grinned down at me. “Alright” He got up off me letting me get up. I felt his gaze as I walked to my closet getting clothes.
“Turn around” I ordered.
“I’ve seen everything before”
“That’s different, now turn around” I glared, he groaned turning away looking at the wall.
I put on a big t-shirt that was 3 times bigger than me with some sweat pants, suddenly I felt warm hands wrap around my waist.
“Were you watching?” I growled.
“I glance at you I saw the bruise on your back” He said, tightening his hands. Crap.
“It’s nothing”
“Don’t fight anymore, I can’t stand to see you like this” He said burying his face in my neck.
“Jack, I need to know. Where do we stand right now?” I whispered; please don’t push me away, please.
“I don’t know…I want nothing more than to claim you in front of everyone but, if I do that it will start a war” He sighed, while starting to pull his hands away from my waist. I quickly held onto his hands forcing them to stay in place.
“Don’t leave” I whispered lowly.
He relaxed his arms around my waist, kissing the side of my neck. “I won’t leave”
“If you leave I will never forgive you understand”
He nodded. We went to bed together that night, he held me close to his chest, with our legs tangled together, I fell asleep to the beating of his heartbeat.
