Chapter 12

Tom's POV:
It's been a week since the organisation was been deactivated. Dan is seriously depressed and obsessive. He's been trying to work out who the traitor is. And it's gotten beyond belief. He's so lost for ideas that yesterday he tried to claim Mr. Flatley was working for KORPS and has put a false file in so that we have to stay in school. I think the hardest thing to believe about that is that Mr. Flatley could place a false file. "Right how about this. I'm the traitor but KORPS wiped my memory."
Dan said sitting down next to me. I just sighed and said "Dan you are not the traitor."
"What makes you so sure? Are you the traitor?!"
"NO!!!" I shouted and he just muttered something I couldn't hear. "Sorry mate but your obsessed. Can't you just accept that we're not spy's anymore and whoever the traitor is has been stopped from infiltrating MI9?" I said softly
"But .. Without MI High I don't have anything to do. And I know everyone is feeling it. Only difference is you've all chosen something else to do. You're all actually good at other things. I mean you spend all of you're time on blade quest, Aneisha does Maths and Science clubs, Keri is a cheerleader and Zoe joined debate club. I mean she tried to get me to join but I suck at coming up with arguements." Dan said
"Yep unless you're arguing with me." Keri said as he and Aneisha sat down with us.
"Wow I'm surprised you have time for us." I said to her
"What do you mean?" She asked
"Well you're always with your cheerleader friends. You dont seem to have time for the mathlete, the computer nerd, the debate genius and me anymore."
"Speak of the devil." Keri muttered as Zoe came over and sat next to Dan.
"Hey Babe." She said kissing him on the cheek "oh look, Queen Keri made an appearance today. How you doin sis?" Zoe said snidely
"Look just cuz I've been a little preoccupied. I'm just trying to take my mind off being shut down." Keri said
"We all have." Aneisha said "and we know you're new friends aren't exactly understanding when it comes to you wanting to hang out with us but let's just agree to make more time for eachother yeah!" We all nodded in agreement.
"Okay well how about we all go out to te cinema tomorrow after school." Dan said
"Ohhhh I can't do tomorrow or Friday, cheerleader practice." Keri said
"Okay Wednesday then!" He said
"I can't. Blade Quest players meet up every week on Wednesday and I've been invited." I said
"Thursday."
"Debate club." Zoe said
"Tonight!" Dan shouted
"Mathletes" Aneisha said
"Great so we can't be friends anymore! Well it was great while it lasted nice knowing you! HAVE A NICE LIFE!" Dan shouted before storming off. We all sat there amazed. Keri got up and went after him. I cautiously looked at Zoe because she doesn't like Keri and Dan being alone. I saw Aneisha doing the same as me but Zoe just looked at is and said "usually I'd mind but today I'm happy for her to take the bullet." I laughed realising that with the mood Dan's in Keri probably will get her head bitten clean off.  Zoe is probably thrilled Keri went instead of her.

Keri's POV:
I chased after Dan and caught up to him in the playground. "DAN!" I shouted at him. He turned around and I walked closer to him. "What's wrong with you."
"Everything!" He said "the organisation is shut down so I have nothing to do and what's more all of my friends and the girl I love have moved on and we can't hang out anymore!"
"Look. Me, Tom and Neish will see you in shook an on weekends and Zoe. Well you know Zoe loves you too."
"I didn't mean Zoe." He said turning away.
"What?" I said and then he turned around an kissed me. I kissed back and after about 30 seconds I pulled away. I jut looked at him.
"Dan I-"
"Don't worry that was a stupid mistake of course I love Zoe I'm being stupid and I'm tired and upset and confused and I have to go!" With that he started to run away.
"I love you too." I whispered as tears threated to fall. I turned away from the school and went to sit on a bench.
"I'm sorry but are you Keri Summers?"
"Yes why?"
"I think we need to talk" .......
