Zane's POV
I watch Celina pace back and forth. She seemed upset but I decided not to say anything. Soon she sat beside me and sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"A lot of things." she replied.
"Like what?" I said.
"Being hunted by O-o-okhassis guard, being a cyote girl that are supposed to be vicious, and love." she said. That last word shocked me.
"Do you understand love?" I asked.
"Sorta, but not completely. Zane, when it comes to love I just don't know." Celina said.
"I don't understand love either, but I'll know when I feel it." I said. I already felt it but I couldn't admit it.
"I've already felt it Zane." she said quietly.
"You probably had a better family than me. My dad was-" I started.
"Zane, it's not my family," she took a deep breath, ".......it's you." Celina said. I was shocked and then I gave a reply.
"I-i love y-you to." I mumbled. I looked away and blushed. She made me look at her and smiled.
"I'm glad you like me back." she said. She stood up and went downstairs. I saw Mandie~Chan approaching and quickly followed.
"Arrof!" barked Silver as I entered the guest room that me and Celina was staying in. Celina was laying on her bed staring at the wall.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!" Silver barked. He started to push me towards the bed and I laughed.
"Silver, you are so silly." I said. He barked again and kept pushing me.
"Silver, leave Zane alone." I heard Celina say quietly. Silver whined and sat behind me. I smiled mischievously.
Celina's POV
I layed in my bed facing the wall when I felt somebody climb into the bed behind me. I turned over to find me and Zane's faces inches apart. He decided to break the space by kissing me. I was shocked but, I slowly kissed back.
"Zane?" I whispered. He turned over and faced his head down. I smiled and jumped on him.
"Gah!" Zane yelled. He pushed me off of him and started to get up. Just then Silver howled and jumped on Zane's face. I burst out laughing as Zane fell backwards. I had to leap out of the way or else I would have a Zane laying on me.
"Get this dog of my face!" Zane yelled. I couldn't stop laughing though. I heard the slight thump of paws hit the ground.
"Huh?" I said. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. I saw Zane smiling mischievously and then he started tickling me.
"N-no...stop! S-stop!" I laughed, but he wouldn't stop. When he did I took a deep breath. Zane sighed and layed his head on my tummy. He made us look like a t.
"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too." I whispered back. I was almost asleep when the door opened. My eyes shot open as my mom squealed.
"Eeeeee! Look at you two. Y'all are soo cute!" She yelled.
"What? Mom, who is cute...Ahhh! Oh my Irene!" Castor's voice yelled.
"Grrr! Can't you see I'm trying to sleep." I growled. Zane was somehow still fast asleep.
"Sorry, but y'all are way to cute." my mother whispered. I let my head go over the edge of the bed so I could look at them.
"Grrr!" growled Silver. She jumped up and started pacing the bed.
"Get outta here you mangey mutt." my mom screamed. Zane pretty much jumped up with that. Silver whined and jumped up beside me. I hugged him and Zane hugged me startled.
"Mom, this is Silver." I said. I had to explain everything that had happened to me and it took almost all night for her to understand. I ended up just falling asleep in Zane's arms.
