"Hi my name is Phyre.", I said into my wall mirror as I curled my hair. That didn't really sound convincing to me...

"Hello I'm Phyre Iris.", I tried convincing myself. I dropped the fake smile I had plastered on my face.

I set the curling iron down and starred at my reflection.

It seems every time I do this, I can remember what I used to look like. My bright red hair scene hair , now a dull brown uneven mess, my porcelain skin a tan golden color, my happy-go-lucky attitude, well I guess I still kinda have that. But everything else had to be changed when I went into witness protection.

I got up from my vanity bench, dreading the day ahead, and walked towards my breakfast table grabbing my Coach bag and car keys of the side . If I dont leave now i'll be late. I took my time locking the door and walking down the winding stairs of my apartment building.

I gripped my grey oversized Mickey Mouse sweater, trying to keep myself warm on my way to my Camry. It was like 35° outside. Just another winter day in Redmond, Washington.

I climbed into my light blue Toyota and sped towards my bestfriend Caspians house. He's been with me since I first moved here. Though just like everyone else he doesnt know my secret. I've considered telling him ,because I always feel like I'm lying to him, but then I remember what my handler told me when i first entered witness protection.

"Never give up your cover, for here on out your life will be a lie. If you do youll risk him finding you."

Damian...

I cant risk him finding me.

I stopped in-front of the large house made of stone and wood that belonged to the Ausustes, Caspians' family.

On the rather oversized porch stood the tall, neatly trimmed brown hair, icy blue eyed, jock that I refer to as Caspian. We strided over to the car, Black Veil Brides band tee visable to the public. He flashed his adorable white smile.

"Hello dear, how was your morning.", he faked a british accent. His innoccent blue eyes bore into mine.

"Well my dear Casper, it twas slendid until you came along, like everyother morning.", I joked in a very posh way.

He flash of hurt ran acroos his eyes but was quickly replaced with his cheeky smile. "Well than.", he continued while putting his seatbelt on.

"Hurry up Casper, we are already late!", I pushed his shoulder playfully. "Chill out Iris, we're always late.", he waved off.

I shifted the stick into gear and sped off to Redmond Heights, our highschool.

Okay so that's the end of the second chapter, the story may drag on for a few more chapters until I get to the suspensful scenes so please bear with me. please Vomment , it would mean the world to me! The picture on the side is what imagined Caspian to look like.

And the song of the chapter is Iris based on her decision to tell Caspian.
