"Congratulation Ms. Stewart you got the job." The manager Ricky at Hooters spoke into the phone.

"Thank you so much."

"Come in Monday morning for training."

"Yes sir. Thank you again." I said before hanging up.

Not even been here more than two weeks and I already have a job and I might have an apartment soon. I been sitting in Pac house alone almost everyday, they leave early in the morning and don't come back until late. Last friday Dre bought me another Iphone 5s like he said he was. I haven't been to the doctors yet for a schedule check. Hopefully I can hide my belly for a little while longer so I can work and save up money. I didn't tell the manager that I was pregnant. You can't tell because my stomach is still flat.

I got tired of sitting in the house and doing nothing. I got dressed and walked outside. The sun was out and the birds was flying. It is  pretty sight out here, better than back at home. I miss my home-town though, my house and everything. I don't miss my father rules, he was beyond strict. He never was like that before, he changed when he "found" god. My house wasn't always happy, well it still isn't. Things honestly only got worse.

My father used to be a drunk and a drug addict. But he will deny the drug part until he die. It's a lot of things he put us through. I don't understand how he can be a pastor. But if that's the lie he wants to carry then so be it. And that is how I get whatever I want just bring up the past.

"Gina fuck you doing out chere' ?" Dre asked walking up with food in his hands.

"I got tired of sitting in the house."

"Didn't you go out the other day ?" He asked with a damn attitude.

"Um yes ? I went to an interview to get a damn job." I gave him the same attitude he gave me.

"Mhm Ight. C'mon." He said walking into the building.

In the house he gave me chicken nuggets, fries and a frappe.

"Bae we go look at the apartment at 3:30." I said in between eating.

"Today ?"

"Yes."

"Ight man. I guess we can needa be heading out huh." He got up and threw our trash away.

We got into the car and drove about 10 minutes and we came up to a complex that looked ran down. It's cheap so I'm cool with it. We walked up the stairs to the rent office. A younger lady walked us around. The whole time she was only talking to Dre, I would get a couple looks but other than that I was invisible. The apartment wasn't too bad, a one bedroom with one bath. The living-room was big and the kitchen was right next to it. Down the hallway was the bathroom on the left and then our room. The balcony wasn't that big, big enough for a grill and maybe a couple chairs.

"The deposit is 550 plus the first months rent which is 400. So 950. You need to have the lights on before you move in." She explained showing us the lease.

"Do it need to be in a check or money order ?" I asked .

"Money order."

"Bae you don't want to run and get that now ?" I asked turning towards Dre.

"Yea. Aye call the lights while I'm gone."

I handed him 960 out of the 1000 I keep in my wallet. I left the other 1000 in my bank account. I made sure to make my own before I told my father I was pregnant. When the lady, Keisha saw me give up the money her face expression changed.
