October's pov

I was sitting on the couch and watching Tv. When I heard a car door open and close, then another, and another. I peered out the window and saw Toby, Kathryn, and Cybil walking up to the door. I quickly stood up, attempting to run out the back door, but hitting my shin on the coffee table as they knocked on the door

"FUCK!" I yelled sitting back on the couch. I shoved the coffee table with my foot. "Fuck you! Fucking table. God Dammit!"

I took another moment to let the pain fade, but they knocked on the door.

"GIVE ME A DAMN MINUTE TOBY!" I shouted louder so they could hear. I winced in pain as I stood back up and limped to the door and opened it. The three of them wore confused looks. I rolled my eyes and moved from the doorway. As Toby walked by, I snarled under my breath. "You brought her."

"She wanted to come." He whispered in my ear. I scoffed, and shut the door when Cybil made it through last. "I hope that you're not busy."

"Running away, then damaging mom's table... and my shin." I replied with a smug look. He chuckled, then realized I wasn't joking when he saw my limp as I walked to sit back down. I pulled my pant leg up to see that it was already bruising.

"Are you alright? That doesn't look too good."

"I'll get you some ice." Kathryn stood up and walked into the kitchen.

"I'm fine." I snapped and the three of them stopped and stared at me. "I'm fine. I don't need anything!"

"October-." Toby began.

"Its just ice." Kathryn defended, and I flared up. I couldn't even stop.

"No... it's not just ice! I don't need your help, I don't need ice, I don't need you checking up on me every week, and I certainly don't need you." I glared at Cybil before walking off. I paced down the hallway to my bedroom and slammed the door shut.

It wasn't until moments later that I realized the offended and hurt look on Cybil's face. My heart sank slightly, but she doesn't have her memory. Why would she hurt by that? I shrugged it off. Looking around the room for something to do. I knew I was going to be here a while, cause Toby isn't going to leave so easily.

3 Hours Later...

I was sitting on my bed, sewing up a hole in an old pair of Pajama pants that I'd been putting off for a while. As I was sewing, there was a knock on the door, startling me a bit.

"Yeah!" I called, forgetting that I might just regret that. I was wondering who this person was, considering Toby had brought along the entire Calvary. The door opened...

Cybil walked into the bedroom. I shook my head in disbelief, then again I should've known the girl doesn't give up. When she wants to talk, it was time to talk.

She stood there as I continued to sew up the hole in my Pajama pants. I had been putting it off because I never was able to put myself in the mood to fix anything.

She sighed and watched for a moment as I stitched up the pants. I glanced up at her to see that she wore a faint grin. Then she gestured to my project.

"I have a lot of clothes fixed by you." She chuckled nervously. "Same stitch and everything."

"So I fixed a lot of your clothes. I am the one who usually did that." I spoke indifferently.

"I know why." She grinned, and that got my attention. I looked up at her confused then sighed getting it as she smiled. I shook my head and went back to sewing the pajamas. "You at least be a little bit happy."
