Chapter 2

There I was packing for New York, ugh still can't believe it.
"Scarlet" i turned around to see Ava she is really sweet i hope she never changes. Let's just say she is a good-two-shoes.
"Yes?" i question

"I heard you are going to New York" Ava said
"yes i am" I said so happy like
"When are you leaving?"
"Tomorrow, same as you"
"Cool, have fun finding your birth mom" she said kinda upset I could tell she wanted to cry.

"What is wrong?" I asked her as a tear slid down her cheek
" I'm going to mis-s you and I do-n't want you to leave this fam-ily" she said stuttering because of her crying
"Hey, look at me. Just because i going to try to find her doesn't mean i am leaving, she probably won't even like me"
"Everyone loves you, she will too" she said wiping her tears. Surprisingly she said that without hesitation.

People hate me what is she talking about?
"Thank you, hey just remember i love you"
"I love you too" she said smiling
"Good, now want to help me pack?"
"Yes, I would love too"
"Hey, do you want to bring your Camera?" Ava asked.
"I haven't used it for a while.." I said trailing off.
"So there will be amazing views in New York."

She made a good point I used to take pictures everywhere I go but, stopped because well I don't even know. "Yeah I will bring it can you grab the bag for it?"
"Yay! I better see amazing photos!" Ava said so excitedly

Ava helped me finish packing, now i am ready to leave for New York.
Leaving 6 hours for me to do anything before I have to go to bed to make my flight.
"I can't believe this, I am going to New York!" I said practically screaming
"I know, I am excited for you." Mom said walking towards me to hug me
"Thank you, for everything." I said while hugging her to make sure she knows I appreciate it
"You are welcome. So, what are you going to do since you got about 6 hours to kill?"
"I don't know probably hang out with the family"

With that Alex and Austin walk in talking about someone.. I wonder who
"Hello" Alex said
"Hey, you guys packed?" Mom asked them. Austin is going to see his Uncle, weird how our grandparents and his uncle live in the same area right? That is actually how me and him met. Long story....

Alex started heading to the kitchen while Austin, mom, and I are still in the living room.
"Who were you two guys talking about?" I said breaking the silence
"Oh, his girlfriend," Austin said awkwardly.
"Oh cool" I said. Alex's girlfriend is a stuck up bîtch. Her name is Stacy Winterball and she is basically the stereotype of a high school Queen bee. Let's just say she is jealous of me. She thinks I'm sleeping with Alex. Ugh I cringe at the thought. He is my brother for Goodness sakes!

Alex came back and sat between Austin and I.
"Sorry you can't come with us" Alex said with fake pout.
"It is okay I am going to try to find my birthmother"
'I am really excited but, also scared' I thought

"You are? On your own?" Austin asked with worry in his voice. He is so protective sometimes more than my own brother.
"Yeah, in New York"
"I could come you know" Austin said to mom and I.
"Austin, go to your Uncle's I will be fine."

I know why he is worried, he is scared that i will get my heart broken again by my parents. He was the shoulder i cried into when my heart was broken. One time I even started to cut but, I have been 5 months clean. Alex doesn't even know that. It was so hard keeping it from everyone.

"You sure?" Austin asked
"Yes, I am sure" Giving him a reassuring smile,he smiled back
'He is the best friend ever' I thought.

"Want to watch a movie with me and Scarlet?" Mom asked Alex and Austin
Austin was about to talk then got off by Alex "We are going to the mall" Alex said
Austin nodded I could tell he didn't want to go but, Alex can be demanding sometimes. He will be moving out in less than 2 months.
"Well, we better get going" Alex said dragging Austin out the door before I could say bye.
"That was weird" Mom said and I nodded in response
"What movie do you want to watch?" I asked breaking the silence
"Home Alone?" She asked since the holidays were coming up
"Yes, best movie ever!" I said
"Hey, before we start I going to ask Ava is she wants to watch too." I said while heading upstairs
"Ava!" I screamed so she can hear me coming up to her room
"Yeah" She sounded like she just woke up
"Want to watch a movie with me and mom?"
"Sure" She started to walk downstairs with me
"Let's make snacks!" Ava said "I'm hungry" she added
"Yeah me too and it's 1pm"
"Why don't we just order pizza?" Mom suggested
"YEAH" me and Ava said at the same time
mom started to laugh and dialed the number.
We waited on the food before we started the movie.
While we waited we played Jenga. I won of course while I was doing my winning dance I heard knocks at the door.
