Chapter 11

Adrien stood against the wall with his head leaning against it. He stood up, turned around to the wall behind him and punched it as he worried about Marinette. He hasn't seen her since the night before when they told him to leave her.

"Adrien!" Plagg called as he flew up to him.

"I told you to go home, Plagg." Adrien said. Plagg cautiously eyed the dent in the wall, then turned back to Adrien.

"Your mom told me to come and get you. Dude, you've been here for 24 hours! You need to come home." Plagg said.

"But I need to be here for--"

"And you'll come as soon as they say you can!" Plagg said, "come on, trust me!" Adrien looked at Plagg, then sighed.

"Okay..." Adrien shook his head and walked down the hall to the door of the room Marinette was in, "I'll be back, My Lady. I promise." Adrien whispered, then kept walking down to the lobby.

"Melodie?! Melodie where are you--" as soon as Camilla walked into Melodie's room, she saw the note on her pillow. She unfolded it and read it.

"Hey mom. Well, Camilla. Please understand that I'm not running away. In fact, I love you very much, and you've cared for me my entire life. But the truth is, when you first adopted me, I was in that Girls' Home when I was 5 because I ran away from home. Yes, at the age of five, because all I wanted to be when I grew up was a model. You know, for magazines. The same way you allowed me to be when you adopted me? But my father wanted better for me. So I ran away. So I've gone to Paris to find my family. I haven't seen them in nearly 11 years, and I can't wait to see them finally. My mom, who I thought had died, but is now back, and my twin. I may not be as thrilled to see my father, after what we had seen in the news. That's right. That villain, Hawk Moth is my father. Who had used his powers to bring my dead mom back to life. And imagine my surprise when I found out my twin brother, Adrien, is now modeling for magazines under my father? That's probably my doing. So he's going to have to thank me later. Haha.
