Arabella had pretty jade eyes.
The type that looked so warm and held something mysterious beneath them, but when those orbs dart to you like a pointed compass, they were cold but still made you feel like you were treasure.
And that made Dave intrigued.
He was never the kind to notice girls especially one's like her. But when it comes to Arabella, he itches to find out every single thing he could find out about her.
So he starts with her pretty jade eyes.
He seems to stare too long, because the beauty turns her head and looks straight into his eyes, threatening, frozen on him. His hand grips his pencil a little bit more tightly due to nervousness.
"Is there something on my face?" she asks, and damn, even her voice was sexy even when she's slightly annoyed, hearing it feels like angels humming and silk wrapping around his ears and dragging him in.
"Um no, I just dozed off that's all. I'm- I'm sorry." He can't believe he just stuttered in front of his new crush. Talk about embarrassing.
"Right." She says sarcastically with a raised eyebrow before turning herself back around.
She probably thinks he's a stalker now.

"Of all the girls you could've crushed on, you pick Arabella." His friend Martin shakes his head as if showing he's really disappointed. "Dude, you've been staring at her for too long, there's probably drool on your food now."
"Would you quiet your voice down," Dave looks around wearily. "What's wrong with crushing on her though?"
"Well look at her, she's like a hurricane. Have you even heard about the things she's done?" His friend snorts, raising an eyebrow in question. And Dave falls into deep thought.
To put it off easily, Arabella wasn't the innocent, happy-go-lucky, head in cloud nine kind of girl. Arabella breathed and screamed trouble. What goes through her sharp mind, Dave craves to know.
One time, Arabella stole and drove Lily Travis' convertible into the town's lake, just because Lily told her she dresses like a goth.
Then there was this time when she taped Lily Travis' boyfriend, Paolo, to the lockers, because he told her to 'back the fuck up her girlfriend.' He ended up slumped against the lockers, electrical tape all over his body with lipstick on his face. How she did it? Nobody knows. Paolo even refuses to tell.
In Health class, She had cut Emily Yu's long hair into a pixie, because it kept 'landing and messing up' her table.
And one time she drove her motorcycle inside the school hallway, just because she felt like it.
How she manages to stay? The principal is her Aunt, and the only punishment she gets is community service, which she refuses to attend also.
Dave knows Arabella for these kind of things and stories and rumors, and yet he still believes there's something else about her. And he wants to unravel Arabella's real soul. If only he was more confident.
