~the next day~
Annie wasn't sure whether to wake up Armin that morning and decided not to Armin might think she was desperate for him, which she kind of was but refused to show him that side of her. She also skipped knocking for him that morning and resulted in her walking to school behind horse face and corporal shorty. She sniggered at their nicknames.

Armin on the other hand couldn't deal with the fact that Annie liked him and had spent all of the night before searching for "does she like me?" Tests and was still asleep. He finally woke to the sound of his laptop shutting down due to low battery, Armin rubbed his eyes and checked the time 8:30. Crap! He was meant to be at school for 8:35. He grabbed his jeans and pulled on a hoodie as he was leaving, nearly forgetting his bag!

As he ran he began to wonder why Annie didn't wake him up or knock for him that morning, was she having second thoughts about whether she actually liked him or not, or was she worried Armin might get the wrong impression.
He decided to leave her, she would decide whether she liked him or not. Armin, now out of breath was only half way to school, what's the point? He thought, I'm late anyway.

Annie had got to school early that morning, so she went to the library knowing that's the place Armin is most likely to be. She was shocked to find the  library empty, not even Eren was in there!

When the bell sounded Annie jumped up, knowing Armin was in her first lesson and she would finally have an excuse to speak to him.

To her surprise Armin hadn't turned up to his math class, odd Annie thought knowing math was Armin's absolute favourite subject, was he avoiding her? Did he think she was avoiding him? She banished the thoughts from her mind, Armin avoid her what a strange thought, she giggled to herself, strolled to her seat and daydreamed as she usually did. Only to be snapped out of it by a familiar blonde boy sitting next to her. Armin. She smiled at him but he merely looked at her, squinting at her as if she'd hurt him in a torturous way, which she hadn't. Annie decided to ignore the fact Armin was next to her. He clearly felt awkward with her so why force him to say so.
"A-Annie?" Armin stuttered, he had been confused as to why she was ignoring him
"Yeah?" Annie replied shocked by the fact he was talking to her
"Are you... Okay?" He asked her he grabbed hold of her hand underneath the desk as the teacher babbled on talking nonsense. Annie blushed as she clutched Armin's hand. To their surprise the bell rung and made Annie jump, she dropped Armin's hand and practically ran out of the classroom, Armin sat with his head cocked to the side, shocked an confused by her actions. When she was with Armin her usual personality seemed absent...
