Armin stood on his front door step, fear filled his scrawny body as he quivered, knowing what was coming next, an earful about how he had priorities and potential, he would probably be beaten a little too but he wouldn't be able to feel anything, he didn't tend to now, nothing but pain and betrayal, he now knew how all of his book characters felt, after being betrayed by someone they held dear, he knew why they seemed bitter and soulless after betrayal.

He opened the creaky door wincing just apprehending what would be next. the house he once knew was no longer this one, the throw over the back of the beige sofa looked as if it had been thrown across the room, the cupboards in the kitchen were left open and empty, had we been robbed? was the only thing that came to mind...

Armin ran to the room he once  recognised as his parents to find an empty room, as if his parents had packed up and left. Left him. Alone. Armins thin scrawny body fell to the ground with a large thud...
