-Liam's P.O.V-
My face was so warm now and I was very embarrassed. Charity's chuckling turned to giggling, which for some reason stirred something inside me, but I ignored that feeling.
"Shut up." Now I'm feeling really self consious. She's laughing after she saw my private area.
She didn't stop though, only began full on laughing. I felt my confidence fall to the pit of my stomach and slowly disappear. I am not that bad am I?
Honestly, I've never been very confident about my body. Yeah, people tell me I look good, but I don't believe them. It's probably something they just say to make me feel good, but it doesn't help.
"Hey, oh shit! I didn't mean to make you upset." Ritty had stopped laughing now and she leaned a bit over me, looking down at me. Her blonde hair casscaded down like curtains. I just got up and walked over to my wall, then slid down it, still holding the towel tight round me.
I didn't even dare to give her a glance, she'd probably just laugh again.
"Liam, what's wrong?" She sighed and her voice was ever so soft and she didn't sound mocking.
"You laughed at me, after seeing, you know what. It kinda kills a boys confidence." I said quietly.
"No, that's not why I laughed. I laughed because of your expression. You went white like a ghost and next second you were red as a tomato. I did not laugh because of your dick." Ritty sat down crosslegged in front of me. I didn't look up at her though, only felt the blush rise to my cheek again.
She giggled softly and then her fingers trapped my chin and tilted it up, forcing me to look at her.
"You blush very easily," she stroked her thumb over my cheek, looking rather facinated by that.
"Yeah and it's awful," she shook her head.
"No. Wanna hear something my great grandmother told me?" She asked, her eyes still on my flaming hot cheeks.
I only gave her a slight not in response.
"A boy with emotions are good, but if they hide it, don't search for it, is they show it, catch it." She said sotfly and like it was a riddle. "What I'm trying to say is, the fact that you blush and show your embarrassesment, that's real. That's one way for people to see the real you. You can't fake blushing and humiliation, not perfectly. This shows you're honest." She gave me a warm smile and now looked me in the eyes.
Her hand dropped from my cheek and fell down in her lap.
"But why are you so insecure about yourself?" She asked me next. I couldn't look away from her though, her eyes catching my full attention.
"People always told me I was ugly ever since I was 12. After I got in One Direction, sure people keep calling me hot or whatever, but the past is kind of engraved inside me. I can't stop believing what they said to me. Haters still call me stuff, sadly, I read more hate then support. I don't know why, but I feel like they are speaking the truth, while others are just pittying me and trying to comfort me." I shurgged and finally looked down and away from her eyes.
"Listen to me then. Do you think I'm honest?" Her question kind of confused me, where is she going with this.
"Yeah, you seem to have no filter." I said and she smirked now and let out an unlady like snort.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes. "In my opinion, you're really fit, Liam. Haters are only here to hate, to be mean and send you awful stuff. You can't completely stop them, cause there are so many. But you should not be insecure about your body at least. I can honestly say I've seen it all and you should be proud. You're well equiped and got a strong build, which you seem to take good care of as well. There is nothing about yourself that you should be insecure about." She had trapped my chin again and made me look her in the eyes while saying that.
I smiled a bit and took her right hand on my chin in my hand now. I held her small and soft hand in my hands and looked at it. I studdied her long, but small and thin fingers. She has very feminine hands.
"Thank you." I glanced back up at her and her dimples showed a bit on both of her cheeks.
"You are so gentle, it's weird," she laughed lightly and shook her head a bit, but she didn't take her hand out of mine, only let me fiddle with it.
"Why is it weird?"
"I've always been a part of the bad crowd, meaning, no one is gentle with me. I've always had kinda tough people around me. It's surprising that Lana is my best friend. I would compare here to Niall." She shrugged her small shoulders a bit and looked down at our hands.
I couldn't help but feel my skin burn where I touched her and how much I wanted to just keep touching her in a way. Not like pervertly, no. Only her skin or something. It's weird. I've never felt the need to touch someone.
"I've always been gentle about everything." I shrugged and parted her fingers, then stroked over all of them one by one, letting her soft skin burn my digits. Not a bad brun, it felt almost pleasurable. I dunno.
"That's probably a good thing. I've heard it means you'd treat your girls right." I left out a dry chuckle now.
"Obviously not good enough." I muttered, but I think she heard by the way her hands balled up.
"Don't think you did anything wrong. It's probably for the better. I don't mean to offende you, but we girls kind of have this unspoken rule. If you have a boy, but find another and you have to make a choice, pick the second, cause you shouldn't even have to choose if the first was right for you. It doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong, it only means, you're not the person for them and they aren't the girl for you. You're only 20, you have a couple years left to find the one girl that won't hurt you ever. Don't give up." She gave me an encouraging smile. I smiled a small smile in return and then we just sat there.
I unballed her fist and spread her fingers. Then I slid my palm onto hers, seeing how much larger my hands are compared to hers. I also slid my fingers in the space between hers, she curled hers as well and our hands were intertwined. My heart did a weird flip when Ritty gave my hand a tiny squeeze. We then let go, but I slowly slid my hand out of hers, but kept it there, I kept expolring it in a way.
There was sudden rattle and we shot up. We went to the door and stood ready to get out if they opened it. The door flew open, but when we grabbed the handle and tried to open it, someon was pulling on the other side.
"Come on, let us out!" I complained and tried to pull harder. Me and Ritty nearly got it.
"HELP! They're breaking out!" Zayn yelled and soon there were running feet and the strength on the other side only got stronger and the door was about to close.
"Ugh, we're not getting out." Ritty groaned and let go, I did the same, letting the door slam shut. There were yelps and groans, but no sound of the door locking. I quickly yanked the door open and found all of the others in a pile on the floor, tangled together.
"We're free!" I cheered and ran out, grabbing the clothes that was there. Ritty cheered as well and ran out of the room. I quickly changed in the bathroom and went out to them again. My lovely friends were groaning and getting up slowly. "That's what you get."
"Boo!" I shrieked and jumped through the ceiling now. I turned around and Ritty was giggling there."Oh gosh, your face!" She began laughing now. I ran forward and threw her over my shoulder. "AHHH! LIAM!" She shrieked now and pounded on my back with her small fists.
I smacked her butt, making her gasp and kick her lags wildly.
"Put me down!" She shouted, but I went outside and walked over to the pool. I checked her pockets and got out her phone and stuff, then I got a grip on her hips. "Liam, don't even think about it." She warned me.
"Too late." I shrugged innocently, then threw her backwards into the pool. She doesn't weight anything, so it was easy to throw her a good distance away, avoiding to get water splashed over me.
She resurfaced with a gasp.
"You bitch!" She growled and then I felt a harsh shove on my back, making me go face first into the pool. Karma is a bitch.
