The days of pregnancy

It has been 5 weeks and I was inside Kuvo's pack. He moved me here with 10 of my own warriors and patrol is regular. They make sure that even the messengers have 5 wolves around them because a few of the messengers are Shadow pack. All the while, Kuvo and Stallion was hostile towards each other just because they both loved me. Kuvo didn't know that Stallion loved me but he was still hostile because of Stallion being a messenger, part of Shadow pack, and a member of the Royal blood line. I knew it wasn't healthy for me to be moving a lot but I did anyways. I had wolves to see. I started with the pups. They was excited to see me considering I was a Royal and when I came here I was just a pup myself. They was also excited to hear the news that they would have little pups running about soon. Next was the Elders. I never did mess with them much but I said hi anyways. Doesn't hurt to be kind. And then I was to congratulate the new medicine wolf. Her name was Star. She seemed very friendly and very up to date with her herbs. I liked her. Stallion have been sleeping in my den to protect me in case any wolves got through the border undetected. Kuvo didn't like it but he allowed it. I knew he wouldn't but ever since he banished me and then unbanished me, I felt hostile towards him. I don't know why but I have a large feeling that Kuvo didn't want the best for our pups. I started to not love him anymore but I still had that sense that told me he was my mate. However that sense started leading me to another wolf also. Started leading me to Stallion. Stallion became a part of me that I didn't know he could be. Our skills and hunting was in sink along with our pace and walk. We was one. Something me and Kuvo never been.

"Ma'am, I was sent to make sure you are alright."

"Who was you sent by?"

"Kuvo, I was sent by Kuvo."

"And what is your name?"

"My name is Alexander, ma'am."

"OK. Alexander, will you please be so kind and tell Kuvo that I need him. Don't say why though, just that I need him."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Thank you." I said watching him leave my den. I am getting so tired of Kuvo sending someone in to see if I need something and I will tell him that too.

"You need me?"

"Yes, Kuvo, I do."

"Why?"

"To tell you that I am tired of you sending in wolves to see if I need anything. I can take care of myself. I am not a pup. I am a full grown wolf."

"I know that you are full grown, but you are also close to giving birth. I refuse to allow you to move much, even just to get food. I want the pups to be happy and strong, as strong as you."

"They will be, even if I run a mile. If I ran a mile they would be strong and immune to some hits from other wolves. I know what my pups need, I am their mother. If you think that you know what they need and try to control what I do, I will leave."

"But Lucy..."

'Don't call me Lucy. My name is Sapphire."

"But Sapphire, please understand what you are saying. Do you really not trust me anymore? Do you really not love me anymore?"

I took a few minuted to answer because I didn't even know. "I still love you, that is true, but my trust... it has weakened for you." I said. When I looked into his eyes, he seemed horrified. Like I just torn someones head off. I didn't know why he looked like that but it wasn't long until Stallion came in. When he did, Kuvos head snapped over to him.

"HOW DARE YOU COME HERE AND TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME, WHISPERING THE LIES YOU DID TO HER?!? KEEP YOU PAWS TO YOURSELF! SHE IS MINE!!!"

"Woah, what did I walked into to have my head snapped off by leader over there?"
