Chapter 3: Visiting Hours

Narrator's POV

Dipper paced around his room, trying to process all that happened. "Okay, Dipper, just breathe" he said and took a deep breath. He sat down on the edge of his bed and put his head in his hands.

"Alright so let's put this puzzle together one piece at a time.... Everything was going fine, then I got lost, and I ran into a statue which happened to be of Bill, I got caught vandalizing his property, then he apologized to me, and kissed me?" He said and raised his fingers to his lips.

"And now he wants me to visit him again tonight..." He bit his lip. "Should I go?" He sighed and laid down on the bed. He heard and knock on the door and said come in, assuming it was probably Mabel.

He was right, Mabel came in and plopped down beside him. "How's my twin bro doing?!" She said with an accent. He raised an eyebrow at her and giggled softly. "Fine..." He said before shifting his face back to emotionless.

Mabel furrowed her eyebrows and looked to her brother. "Are you alright dipper?". Dipped turned to her and nodded, he wanted to confess all that was bothering him, but he didn't exactly know if it was a good idea or not.

He hated bill. He tried to kill his family and take over Gravity Falls. He completely despises him... So why was he feeling like this? He thought of what bill had said and then the kiss they shared.

His face flushed pink and he turned around away from Mabel. "Dipper? What's wrong?" She persisted and put on hand on his shoulder. Dipper gulped lightly and shook his head. "N-nothing I just need to clear my mind, sorry Mabel" he said and got up, rushing out of the room.

He made his way down the shack and out of he front door, trying to avoid everyone as much as possible. He succeeded and he sighed in relief as he shut the door behind him and walked outside.

He paced around a tree. "Alright... He wants me to visit him tonight... Maybe I should go... But just to see what he's up to!" He corrected himself and sighed, leaning up against the tree.

He took off his hat and ruffled his hair. Does he even know how to get back to that statue? He only stumbled upon it, because he was chasing after waddles. He sighed again, realizing he would probably have to take waddles with him to guide him back to the statute.

"I hope Mabel's okay with that..." He took a breath through his nose and walked back into the shack. "Hey Mabel?" He called to her. "Mabel?!" He yelled and smiled softly as he saw her come run down the stairs covered in glitter.

He giggled softly. "Wha? I was gone for like two minutes, and you're already covered in that stuff". She smiled widely, her braces showing and she nodded. "Yep! I was painting waddles toenails, or hooves and it kinda got out of hand" she laughed and twirled around.

Dipper laughed and shook his head. "Oh wait speaking of waddles, can I borrow him tonight?" He asked and rubbed the back of his neck. She stopped twirling and looked at him confused.

"Borrow waddles? For what?" She asked and dipper let out a nervous laugh and shifted his glance at the ground. "Umm...n-nothing important, I-I just want to start taking him on night walks..." He said hoping she would buy it.

She furrowed her eye brows and narrowed her eyes at her brother. "Hmmmmm....okay!" She laughed and ran back up to their room as she heard a crash. "Waddles?! Don't touch anything! Your toes aren't dry yet!"

Dipper winced at the sound of the crash and he sighed in relief, taking off his hat and wiping his brow. "That was close..."
