I stand there frozen watching as the one who supposedly would never hurt me stab me in my heart and twist it around. The pain is excruciating.
"L-Lucas?!"
"Cassandra! It's not what it looks like..." Lucas stutters out the words... As if I didn't just see him pressing Amber against the lockers like he used to do to me.
"R-really Lucas?! I'm not stupid. Her lipstick is smeared on your face and it's on your neck too!" I say in nearly a whisper as I have no courage really.
Lucas stands frozen, for once in our relationship he was speechless.
"We'll finish this later!" He growls out in a low voice that only I can hear when he sees people staring. I just simply walk away to class not having the courage or strength to deal with him anymore. Tears well up in my eyes as I think of what happened. When I turn into the next hall
I see Amber and her boyfriend Ashton arguing. Ashton looks angry. Like really angry. Well I would be too if my girlfriend cheated on me. Wait they did...
I just continue to walk down the hall and I accidentally bump into Ashton but I quickly continue down the hall into my class not wanting any known contact or conversation.
Class was boring that day... All the suspense started when I got home.
