Jealousy

You watch them together and you are clouded by an swarm of jealousy.

They smile, laugh and it hurts

You want to have that, you want to be that

But you know it will never happen

These emotions are unfamiliar 

You don't know what to do

You don't know how to to act

So you just feel, and let the emotions guide you

You want it all

You'll do anything to get it

Even betray the ones you love most

Then it collapses

Everything you worked so hard for

Your world collapses

Right before your eyes

And then you fix it

You fix what you've broken 

And start fresh

You are happy

And then it comes back

The jealously 

Like ink branded onto your arm

Permanent

Never leaving you

Then the tears come

And your heart shatters

It breaks and shatters and you want to cry

But you can't

Not in front of them

So you deal with the emotions

And try to ignore the jealousy and the pain

You find distractions

You remove yourself from the situation

And you deal 

Take it day by day

And one day

Maybe it'll go away

Forever
