"Burkley, wake up! You're going to miss the bus if you don't hurry!" My mom yelled to me as I pretended to not hear a word she said. "Burkley!" she yelled with a more stern voice than before. "Ugh!, I'm coming!" I scream back irritatingly. I slowly sit up from my warm bed and take my pink earphones out of my ears, still playing music I was listening to the night before. "Come on! It's Monday, the best day of the week, full of new possibilities!" my mom lectured me as i slowly walk down the stair case. My knees aching from soccer practice the day before. "I know, i just didn't get much sleep last night, I had the same horrible nightmare again; this is the 4th night in a row." I knew exactly what she was about to say. "What was it about" she quickly asked before my mouth could even open. "I can't remember." I said as I swallowed my bagel whole. Except the thing is that I do remember. After having the same dream 4 times in a row, you start to recite it word for word in your head. The same detail kept coming to my thoughts over and over again. Aunt Janice. In the dream, her and my mom were arguing. I couldn't understand it well because my vision was blurry and the sound echoed, making my ears ache. I shook my head trying to get the unsettling thought out of my head. "7:01, crap! Got to go, love you mom!" I ran out the door and down the street barely making it to the bus. "Take deep breaths." I thought to myself. Today is going to be a good day.
