Just A Clap of Hands

I woke up before the rest of the house and I decided that I’ll head to the bridge to take a look at it. I walked on the bridge; other early workers already gathered and started to work. I examined the bridge; it’s nearing its completion inch by inch.

“Um, you’re one of the Konoha ninjas right?” I spun around to see a few workers standing together.

“Yeah. Why?” I asked, emotionless.

“Do you think this bridge will make a difference? Is it worth it?” I stood still, stopping. No knowing what to answer.

“Should it matter? It’s something you as a group made together and even if no one uses it, you should be proud.” They seemed confused about my answer and slowly turned around and left. Then the mist got thicker and the bloodlust was once again high. I frowned and spun around, only to see Zabuza with his sword in one of the worker’s hearts.

“Well well, nice to see you here, Princess Zuki.” I frowned.

“Who the hell is this Princess Zuki person?! What do you know of me?! Huh?!” I spat at him, my emotions all over the places. He shrugged.

“There isn’t much known of the Zuki clan, only that it was completely wiped. The Princess of the clan is the only survivor, so far I know. The Zuki clan was one of the most feared clan, and that its clan members lived in Kumogakure, the Village Hidden by the Clouds.” I frowned, then blinked. Bad idea. He was behind me in a second. I reached for my katana but was too late and I was thrown off the bridge. Dammit! I tried focussing my chakra to my feet but I guess I didn’t do it fast enough for I fell face first into the cold, freezing, mist covered water. I tried swimming up but I guess I failed for the water got stronger and just kept me under. I frowned. I don’t know if it’s just my imagination, or for real, but I could hear clashing and fighting sounds from on top of the bridge. I closed my eyes, and I don’t know why I did this, but I tried forming the chakra around my body. Nothing happened. Then an unknown pull, like magnets, connected my hands together in a clap and the water started spinning faster and forming around her. She smiled as this waterspout accrued. It only went faster and got higher. But I was pulled along with it, up above the water, inside this tornado. The tornado stopped moving higher, and I was just above the water. I looked up, a deep fog covering the bridge. I sighed but my eyes widened as I heard the clashing of kunai against sword and water splashing. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and focused on their chakras. Kaka-sensei against Zabuza….Pinkette protecting Tazuna….and Sasuke going up against…the same person I saw when I did my training, Zabuza’s apprentice, Haku. Wait what?! Apprentice? It told me about him…he has a dangerous kekkei genkai. Sasuke…you better watch you back. Then I felt a disturbance in the chakra and somehow the chakra formed around Sasuke and Haku. What…it’s the kekkei genkai… I clapped my hands and focused the tornado and kept repeating one word in my head…UP! And it did so, the tornado grew bigger and next thing I knew, I was being held at the side of the bridge which I quickly stepped on. No one saw me because of the fog, or senses me for that matter. But I saw them…I could see them, their fight, attacks, and it was all because of their chakra. What…what is this? To see people through their chakra…it’s so…weird. Defiantly something you see every day. I see their chakra network, where their chakra is forming, what kind of jutsu their doing. Sasuke was surrounded by some kind of mirrors. I quickly appeared behind the mirrors, no one sill noticing me. Good. I was then surprised by…Naruto? He appeared in front of Sasuke. I decided that I should wait a little before making my grand entrance. So I waited, and watched as this scene played. Sasuke and Naruto were confused, Haku kept attacking them from every mirror, but Sasuke later realized that he was only swiftly moving between the mirrors. And how did he see that? None other than the Sharingan. Then the unbelievable happened. Sasuke dies. Naruto of course hated Haku now and orange chakra leaked out of him, sending Kaka-sensei, Zabuza and Haku into confusion and alarmed. Before Naruto could kill Haku, I appeared in front of him and grabbed his wrists. He seemed shock but I send chakra into my pointer finger and a gold light emerged from it. I touched Naruto’s neck, and he fell into sleep. I quickly placed him next to Sasuke and ran at Haku. He didn’t know what to do, but he also couldn’t see me. My katana pierced his arm and all the mirrors shattered. Haku kneeled down, holding his arm.

“Emilio-hime…please…kill me. I wish to die by your hands.” I clapped my hands and gold light covered my hands. I placed it to his head and he instantly went pale, his body motionless. His body fell limb and he fell down, Haku was…dead. I turned to Duck-Butt and Naruto and started to heal their wounds with my gold light, my medical ninjutsu. I didn’t care about Kaka-sensei’s battle and Tazuna. These boys needed help, and now. When I was finished healing them, I appeared behind Sakura, but of course, she didn’t hear me or know I was there. The fog lifted, and Gato’s entire army lay emotionless on the floor. I looked up to see Haku and Zabuza lay next to one another. I smiled, at least they died together.

“I guess Sasuke killed Haku then…” Sakura mumbled.

“No.” All eyes turned to me. I just returned an emotionless glare. “Let’s go.” I said, turning around and walking back to Tazuna’s house. For the next week I locked myself in this room, not even coming out to eat. I didn’t want to. I wasn’t hungry. And I didn’t want to answer everyone’s annoying questions. All I cared about was this new ability I have found. I can clap my hands…and awesome things happen! After a long, emotional good bye, we finally started our departure. Me being at the back, not wanting to talk to anyone. Later the entire team stopped, me not noticing this kept on walking, and when I snapped out of my thoughts, I saw that I was walking with the team. Kaka-sensei on my left and Sasuke on my right. Kaka-sensei looked down at me, a closed eye smile on his face. He patted my hair.

“Good job Emma.” He said before looking back to the front. With my high collar, nobody saw my faint pink blush.

We got back to the village, me and Kaka-sensei went to report to the Hokage.

“So…I take it was a success?” He asked and I nodded. Kaka-sensei then explained all the details, blah blah blah. That’s when I remember something.

“Hokage-sama?” He nodded.

“Yes Emma?”

“IS there a way I can go to Kumogakure?” He seemed confused. “It is the place where my clan members lived, so maybe the Raikage or someone would recognize me.” The Hokage smiled.

“The preparations have already been made.”  I frowned.

“Wait what?”

“Kakashi send me a report saying that Zabuza recognized you as a Zuki so I did my research and it is true that your clan comes from there, but they were all killed. So I made preparations that you continue your ninja years in Kumogakure. But that is of course if you accept to leave the Leaf.” I smiled.

“Please don’t take it offensive or anything. The Leaf is great, it’s just…” The Hokage smiled.

“I understand child. Now go pack. Tomorrow two ANBU will escort you there, seeing as these two ANBU have missions there.” I nodded and disappeared from the office, into Kakashi’s apartment. I packed everything, although there isn’t much. Clothes. Weapons…that’s it. Tomorrow…tomorrow I will go to Kumogakure…
