Lydia rapped her mechanical pencil against the textbook in her lap. She was thinking about college, and about what September 1st would bring her and her best friend. She moved her head to look at the girl driving the small Toyota. Her friend's long curls rolled down her shoulders and arms, held secure with a silver headband. Lydia's eyes traveled across the other girl's face, raking across her high cheekbones and her jawline that could cut glass. She moved her eyes across the dark brown leather jacket she wore, pushed halfway up her arms, the floral sleeve-less shirt underneath it, the dark jeans stretching across the girl's legs. Lydia eyed her expert fingers as her friend twisted the wheel, her long rounded finger nails painted a bright white.
"Allison?"
"Hmm?" The girl kept her eyes on the road, forever wary of wildlife. Allison loved the outdoors, and often skipped school just to take long walks through the woods. She was wary because Lydia got them into a car accident involving a deer at the beginning of junior year.
"Are we sure we should be doing this?"
"Lydia Martin. Your mother gave us keys to a beach house, more a mansion, really, with a fully stocked liquor cabinet and not an adult in sight. We are indeed 'doing this'."
"But shouldn't we be home, studyi-"
Allison cut Lydia off, and finally looked at her. "You spent all of high school acing all your classes, taking more courses than the average student in America, and not going to parties or anything. You sure as hell deserve one summer to relax." Allison grabbed the textbook out of Lydia's lap and threw it blindly behind her.
"Allison, please, if you would just care for my books just a lit-" Lydia complained, watching the book hit the floor of Allison's car.
"No, no, no, no, no, no! It's the summer! We just graduated! Let loose!" Allison laughed, grabbing the pencil out of Lydia's hand and throwing it out the window.
"Allison, this is abs-" Lydia tittered. Allison whooped, turning up the music and going 5 miles over the speed limit. Lydia couldn't help but laugh.
"Ok, ok," the stubborn strawberry blonde giggled. "It's summer!"
"Damn straight!" The brunette looked forward, smiling at the road ahead.
The girls had lived in tiny Beacon Hills since they were born. They became fast friends in the 3rd grade, the spontaneous brunette and the headstrong redhead, but she always preferred to be called a strawberry blonde. They grew together through the years, aging quickly yet memorably, and they graduated hand in hand on May 1st. They walked up to the stage together, dressed in blue caps and gowns, ignoring the order to go up alphabetically. Allison Argent and Lydia Martin were always together, glued at the hip.
It had been four hours since Allison had told Lydia to let loose, and she was beginning to fall asleep, but awoke immediately when she felt her friend veering off the highway.
"Oh, please tell we're getting coffee," Lydia rubbed her eyes.
Allison smiled. "Well, duh!"

Hey guys! This is like my first serious fanfic. I'm excited and terrified at the same time.
Malia, Kira, and Isaac will come in later, along with Jackson (maybe?¿). Comment any other characters you want to see.
If you don't watch Teen Wolf, that's fine. It's almost none of the same storyline, but I'm going to make little references to the show, see if you can catch them :,)
Tons of ships will be canon at different times. Expect scallison, malira, malisaac, allisaac, scira, brief stalia, and stydia. I'm a hardcore stydia shipper, but I'm adding in stalia to help the plot and the story develop.
So give me some views, some comments, some likes, some votes? Just writing about the show I love❤️
