The Little Apple was a cozy joint squished in between a fabric store and a coffee shop. As the five teens passed the coffee shop, Lydia looked up at the blue sign. It said "The Perch" in red capitalized letters, and under it was a branch that curled out around the edge of sign, with a red robin perched on the end of it.
Allison pulled the red door of The Little Apple open, and Lydia was whisked away from the coffee shop by the jangle of bells on the door and the bustle from inside the shop. Malia and Kira went in first, standing very close together but without their hands touching. Lydia started to walk in next, but Issac sped up to be next to her. He wrapped his arm around Lydia's shoulders and walked in with her. Lydia felt extremely small under his grasp, but she also felt like she fit perfectly under his arms. Allison made it in after them, and she slapped Lydia's ass as she walked past, wiggling her eyebrows as well.
Kira's little hands brushed up and down Malia's arm, as the taller girl looked down at the tiny person clinging to her with dark eyes that were almost all pupil. Kira blushed and turned to the woman standing by the door.
"Just five of us," Kira smiled at the woman standing near them, "and if we could have a booth that would be great." The woman smiled and led the teens to booth with red cushions by the window snuggled into a place that wouldn't be too loud.
Kira and Malia sat very close to one another, and Isaac sat next to Malia. Allison sat next to Kira, and Lydia slid in next to Isaac. They had only been in the restaurant for 5 minutes when two teen boys came in. They looked about the same age as the others.
Isaac saw them immediately, and he raised up his hand shouting, "Scott! Stiles! Over here!" The boy in front looked over and grinned, motioning to his friend as they walked toward the table.
"Who are they?" Allison asked before the boys came over. "Just some guys I met last summer. They're from LA, they're cool." Allison and Lydia gave each other strange looks before turning their attention to the boys coming their way.
"Isaac! What's up?" said the one in front. He was tanner, had darker eyes, and woke a blue button down and khakis.
"Scott! It's good to see you. Have a seat!" Isaac motioned next to Allison, and he looked at her and his eyes widened.
"Oh, hi! I'm Scott." His voice was softer now, and Allison smiled gently at him. Lydia definetly noticed an attraction forming between the two. The second boy was slightly taller, and had lighter heart and eyes; they were more of a chocolate brown. He eyed Allison with a smolder, and then raked his eyes over Malia, and then turned to Isaac.
"Hey, man," the boys voice was husky, and he shook Isaac's hand. He flicked his eyes toward Lydia, and she found that his eyes seemed to bore holes through her body. She smirked at him, sat up straighter, and flipped her hair over her shoulder. She met his gaze, slowly move her eyes down his tall frame and then moved them back up, meeting his gaze once more. He raised an eyebrow and said, "I'm Stiles."
Lydia smiled and said, "I'm Lydia." Stiles slid into the booth next to Scott and across from Lydia.
Isaac looked around the table with a nervous smile and wide eyes. "Alright," Isaac started. "Pizza sounds really great right now, because the mood is weird."
"Sounds good to me," Allison cleared her throat, obviously grateful for the change in attitude at the table, and Scott agreed, gazing at Allison. "What do you think, Lydia?" Lydia was busy having a staring contest with Stiles. The two teens were staring into each others eyes with such intensity that if they were both made of glass, the two would have already shattered.
Lydia moved her eyes from Stiles' to Allison's, tossing her fiery curls over her shoulder in a manner she knew would make Stiles twitch. "Sounds great to me, Allison. Malia? Kira?" The girls were whispering in the shadows of the booth, Malia twisting one of Kira's loose curls around her index finger.
Kira turned quickly and adjusted her hair away from Malia's grasp, laughing nervously. "Yeah," Kira breathed, "sounds good."
Isaac sighed "Good. Now where is that waiter..."
Allison could see the group was heading right back to where they had just been. She was quick to ask; "So, Scott, Stiles, Isaac, how did you three meet?"
Stiles smirked viciously at Lydia and turned to Allison. "So, Scott and I are from LA. Last summer Isaac was in town visiting family, and we met in a Starbucks."
Scott nodded in agreement, looking toward Lydia. "Where are you from?" Scott rested his head on his hand and leaned forward to hear her answer.
"Allison and I are from Beacon Hills." Scott and Stiles looked completely lost, so she said, "Yeah, you've probably never heard of it. There's a forest on one side and a desert on the other. The population is, like, 6,000 people. There are 4 high schools; our graduating class was about 300 people." When Scott looked surprised, Lydia finished with, "Pretty different from big city life, huh?" Stiles nodded.
"What about you, Isaac?" Allison looked at the boy next to Lydia.
Isaac pondered for a second. "Well, it's a tiny town. About 10 or 15 years ago, a bunch of people came here and had kids, so that's why Kira and I are here. Malia and her dad moved her when we were 7th graders. Other than that, it's mostly retired old rich people."
To Lydia and Allison, the town didn't seem very alien, because it was basically the same as theirs except smaller, but Scott and Stiles looked dumbfounded. Isaac laughed at their faces and continued. "Our senior class was 101 kids. This town is so small, that when you walk down the street, it's guaranteed that every person you see has been in your house, or vice versa." Malia nodded.
"It's true," the brunette had a raspy, sultry voice. "I haven't even lived here my whole life, but by the second year I lived here, I knew half the towns middle names. It's insane."
Stiles spoke up. "Well, it's the opposite in LA. There were 850 kids in the graduating class, and I knew about 100 of their names, and another 50 whom I only knew by their first name, and the rest I could probably recognize if you gave me a few seconds to look at them."
"Looks like we all grew up in pretty different environments." Kira stated, looking at everyone at the table.
"Well, look at us," Stiles grinned, "we all ended up sitting at this booth, on this day, in this year. Crazy."
Then there was a 16 inch cheese pizza in front of them. Everyone had a slice in seconds.
Lydia looked at Allison and winked. This was going to be a good summer.

Ok. I haven't updated in sooooo long. I've gotten my biggest summer trips out of the way, so you can expect at least two more chapters in the next 3 ish weeks.
Ok. So we get a little more backstory, and we get Stiles and Scott!! So happy.
I got motivation from someone who messaged me saying that they like my chapters and they wanted me to update, and that made me more confident in this story than ever. That makes me feel awesome. If you do that, I'll love you forever.
Until next time,
