Guys there is one teeny tiny swear in this one, just be aware, ok?👍Percy was ecstatic about Annabeth. He smiled so much and so widely that Kris had been able to begin to count his teeth. He had repeatedly told Tyson and Kris his proclamation of love for Annabeth so many times that Kris had memorized it, but she didn't mind, he had found the love of his life, and planned to stay with her for the rest of his life. Annabeth had been released from the hospital  that morning and she and Percy had been in the forest all day, no one  knew where they where, but everyone knew what they were doing. Don't worry, not gross stuff, they were killing things, their favourite couple activity. Kris was bored of fighting and climbing so she walked to the Aphrodite cabin to see the head councilor, Piper, but the only one there was Drew, the camps' least favourite person. "She's not here" she said with a bat of her pink lined eyes. Kris turned on the ball of her foot and slammed the door on the way out, she hated Drew. On her first day she had shoved Kris' head in the toilet in the girls' washroom, but Kris had then learned her power over earthquakes, and broke the toilets (and Drew's ankle). She felt the corners of her mouth twitch at that memory and strolled along the sweet smelling strawberry field down to the lake. She sat down on the edge of the water and saw Harley from the Hephestus cabin and a slight girl from Demeter in a canoe in the middle of the lake. Harley was looking in the clear water as the Demeter offspring was carefully trying to rock him out of the boat. Kris held her breath and twitched her fingers, she felt a quick sharp pain in her chest as the ground shook briefly and Harley toppled out of the vessel. The girl remained in the canoe and looked as if she were about to cry from laughing so hard. Kris was so absorbed in the two children that she didn't even acknowledge Annabeth flopping down beside her. Her brother's fiancé cleared her throat and Kris' he'd snapped toward her. "I didn't even see you." Kris pronounced, she was shocked. The girl that her brother was marrying and Kris didn't even notice. Her eyes flitted down and Annabeth spoke, "I need to talk to you" she said in a hard tone. Kris nodded, letting Annabeth continue. "I can't marry Percy!" The other girl spat out the words so fast that Kris had to ask her to say the words again. "I can't marry Percy" she pronounced each syllable carefully. Kris' mouth dropped down. Her lungs felt like a full grown cyclops was sitting on them. She was shocked. Percy and Annabeth were perfect for each other, and you never knew how long demigods would live, it was dangerous. Questions swirled around Kris' head so violently that there was only one word she could choke out, "Bitch!" She felt that the world was sideways and that word was the only way to keep her from falling off of it. "I can explain!" Annabeth's eyes watered and her voice shook as she spoke. She talked until the dinner bell wrang and once more Kris' mouth dropped. She stood up with Annabeth, who was full out sobbing now. She was shaking, both of them were, but that was not from emotion Kris realized. The lava wall crumbled and the big house collapsed. Kris saw Annabeth fall and heard campers screaming all around. Kris felt an agonizing pain in her chest. She almost didn't notice her knees buckle. The ground quickly came up to meet her and then things went dark.
