Sehun's POV:
Back at my seat- I soon realized how I would be done in a ten minute period of time. I glimpsed my way at Hayoung's as we all began to shake hands- a clear indication that we all needed a few more goodbyes would have been the end for today's meetings.
Looking at them- it just gave me an awkward feeling but it was more awkward seeing the two look blunt after just that.
Jongsuk, on the left corner wearing a famous suit, stunned- probably because he saw his wife or ex-wife if that was she was- and Hayoung, here on the right, mindblown from what she just heard.
Jongsuk probably feels the same way as I do; everyone possibly seeing us as one of the best guys to be with. Slightly, Hayoung could only see the difference of how much I was unlikely.
Talk about a true friend.
The clients soon were slowly going ahead as they bid their goodbyes. Only Grandfather, the secretary and I were the only ones left.
"Well, the meeting went well didn't it?"- I told Grandfather. He just chuckled before he gave me his reply.
"Yes. . .yes it did. In fact, I was pleased to see the company financial rate going higher with the idea your team has come upon.
Have you seen it?" - He asked.
My mind went scrambling for what my team has proposed. I didn't even know they had one and had make it big~ enough for Grandfather to actually praise them.
"You haven't, right?"- He asked. I could only smile sheepishly- he surely reads my facial reactions or maybe, he could read my mind.
"Oh Sehun, how am I suppose to hand down the company if you're like this."- He chuckled as he came patting down my shoulder.
One thing I really loved about my old man is he never gets me pressured. I know I have the world on my shoulders but then- he just doesn't scold or give me the hard time of dealing with his anger.
Better yet, he makes me guilty. The reason why I am doing everything is certainly just because of him. Money surely didn't matter. I valued him, the company's achievements and the workers he refer to as a family.
His expression soon changed making me wonder why. . .
"Isn't that our dear Hayoung?"- He asked, while I sighed- surely he saw her.
"Yeah, I suppose its her."- I mumbled.
"Why didn't you say she was here? She could have joined us." He said.
"She could have- but she's here for something else."- I told him. He only nodded his head before someone came linking her hand to mine.
I could only look at our hands intertwined, tracing from her fingers down to her face.
Hayoung.
"Hayoung. . ." - He paused as Hayoung gave him a bow. " I was hoping you'd come and have a small talk. Sehun says you were here for something else. . ."
