Sehun's POV:
Hayoung and I were left to ourselves to eat. I felt happy that she agreed to eat with me but then~ she wasn't feeling the same. Maybe. . .Jongsuk suddenly leaving seemed to leave a sad note on her.
Maybe just maybe? But . . . Why?
It's not like the they are closer than we were. Does she like him that much for her to be like this?
"So. . . "- I said, clearing my throat. "What did you do today?"- I asked trying to make up another conversation.
"Nothing, really."- She sighed. "It was just this lunch meeting then I'll see Naeun later."- She said as she continued to play with her food.
"Are you okay?"- I blurted out.
"Why?"- She asked as her eyes met mine.
"You don't seem fine and. . . you're playing with your food."- I said and she soon stopped, running her fingers through her hair out of embarassment.
"I'm sorry. . . I was just thinking."- She blurted out, looking away from me.
"You don't seem fine with me being around, aren't you?" - I asked. As soon as I asked, the fork in her hand fell to the floor at her sudden release making an unlikely sound.
"I'm sorry. . . "- She began as she picked up the fork. "I just had a lot in my lately. . ."- She reasoned out.
"Aish. . . I know you don't want me here. Judging from the transition of your attitude; You seemed happy with Jongsuk and now. . . You're like this?"- I began a tease on her, hoping she would reply with her usual tone.
