RILEY'S POV
That afternoon I didn't know what to think, did Farkle kiss back? Or was Smackle being annoying, and trying to break us up.

I felt the tears stain my cheeks as my eyes grew glassy and tears started to fill them up. I propped myself up by resting my chin on my hands.

I didn't know who to believe, Farkle or Smackle. The truth is Smackle is a lying bitch, and Farkle is...Farkle.

Why couldn't I believe Farkle?

I heard a knock at the Bay Window. I glanced over to the window, to see my best friend, Maya.

She carefully slid the window open and looked at me with a sympathetic smile.

"I got your text, can I come in?" Maya asked, resting her head on the window frame of the bay window.

"Yeah." I mumbled, slowly moving to make room for Maya to sit down next to me.

"Riles it's gonna be okay." Maya said wrapping one arm around my shoulder sincerely, as I sobbed.

"What if it isn't gonna be okay!" I exclaimed pulling away from Maya and wrapping my arms around my chest in annoyance.

"Riles, Farkle loves you, do you really believe Isadora Smackle, jealous ex-girlfriend, bitch, she's probably lying."

"I don't know, Farkle has always been trustworthy, but I just caught him kissing another girl, not just any girl, HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND, ISADORA SMACKLE!" I yelled in anger.

"Calm down, Riley, Farkle would never do anything to hurt you! Why don't you just talk to him, hear his side of the story." Maya said in a calm, yet serious tone.

"What's there to tell, he kissed his ex-girlfriend and I caught him, she told me he kissed back, and I don't know if he did or not." I said disappointed in Farkle.

"Talk to him, Riley, you have to let him at least explain."

"I guess, you're right, even though I don't want to talk to him right now."

"Look, he's texting you non-stop!" Maya exclaimed as she grabbed my phone out of my bag.

FarkleMinkus: Riley please call me!

FarkleMinkus: Riley I'm so sorry, please let me explain! Please!

FarkleMinkus: Riley please! We need to talk.

FarkleMinkus: Smackle kissed me, I would never do that to you!

I glanced over the first 5 messages. "Ugh, fine!" I exclaimed as I took my phone from Maya's grip as she was scrolling down to read the messages.

"Hey! I was reading that!" Maya said.

"I'm texting him one second."

RileyMathews: Fine Farkle meet me at Topanga's in 15 minutes!

FarkleMinkus: meet you there.

"So..." Maya said before I cut her off.

"I told him to meet me at Topanga's 15 minutes, he texted meet you there." I said annoyed and I stood up and grabbed my coat from the chair.

"Want me to come?" Maya asked supportively.

"No it's okay, enjoy your night." I said as I walked over to the Bay Window.

"Only if you're sure." Maya said climbing out of the bay window.

"I'm sure, go have fun." I said as I watched Maya leave the bay window.

I took a deep breath in and climbed out of the bay window. I felt the cold air brush against my face as I climbed down the fire escape onto the side walk.

(At Topanga's 15 minutes later...)
I stood just outside of the door frame looking at Farkle awkwardly sitting down on the couch in Topanga's.

I inhaled sharply and slowly walked into the cafe, still standing as Farkle swung his head around to face me.

"Hey." I said calmly, I was surprised I wasn't yelling and screaming at him.

"Hey." He said standing up sharply.

"Talk." I said abruptly and sitting down awkwardly.

"Smackle kissed me! I didn't kiss her." He said as I felt his heavy breaths on my neck.

"I want to know everything, because..." I paused for a second then continued my thought. "I'm not sure how...how to believe you." I said stuttering to spit the words out.

I hated not trusting him, but how could I?

"I was in the science room going over my homework, before the teacher came in when I heard Smackle say something, she came closer and I kept asking her to leave, but she wouldn't. She leaned into my neck and screamed at me to look at her, I looked at her next thing I know it she started kissing me." Farkle said panting.

"She said you kissed back, from what I saw your lips were locked for a long time."

"I didn't do anything I swear, I would never hurt you!" Farkle exclaimed looking through my eyes for trust.

"I know, but I trusted you and in a way you betrayed my trust."

"Please Riley you have to believe me!" Farkle begged.

"I h...have to think about it first." I stuttered as I got up sharply.

"Take all the time you need, I'll wait." Farkle said getting up with me.

"Don't hold your breath." I mumbled to myself quietly.

"What was that?" Farkle asked.

"Oh nothing, see you tomorrow at school." I said as I left the cafe.

I had one thing on my mind, how to get back at Smackle.
