Dear Diary,

'Twas the gift giving season recently as we celebrated the joyous holiday together as a family. Lord Cyrus gave me a beautiful locket as a gift which took me quite by surprise. It was only later that I learned the locket was in fact a gift from Sir Thaddeus, but Lord Cyrus stole it from him to claim as his own. It's New Year's Eve tonight, and once again Lord Cyrus has deserted me for his fellow mates at the local tavern. Sir Thaddeus stayed with me for a little while, but I dismissed him to go celebrate as he pleased. I don't quite mind my solitude.

Only a few moments had passed after Sir Thaddeus left, before Genevieve suddenly appeared before me. She seemed angry at me for some reason, I offered for her to stay to celebrate the evening together, but she cursed my name. After she finished yelling she pulled out her wand and pointed it at me. I asked if she was going to kill me, but she merely laughed and executed a spell. I did not know what she did until the smoke cleared from the room, I thought I was looking at my own reflection, but it was in fact Genevieve disguised as me. I was shocked and knew not of what to say, all she said to me before she disappeared was, "A very happy new year to you little sister, it will be full of surprises to die for." Then she was gone.

Much Love,
