//Harry//

It had been a week since she ran out on me. It had been a week since my fateful performance. It had been a week since I heard her voice, her eyes slowly closing as she sang my song back to me.

Her ex, well I presume he was her ex, strode into the room. His perverse gaze lingering upon her body, was enough of a persuasion for me to interject, putting a stop to his 'wandering' eyes. The atmosphere was eerie. Even I felt uncomfortable around him, 'stranger danger.' He was an obvious danger. I just wonder what happened, why did she leave? My brain pushes the thought away as I break out of my daze.

I walk into my kitchen, pulling my phone out from my pocket. The yellow post-it note that featured the number of the bar was found stuck to my white fridge door, double checking that I typed each number correctly, I press the green phone.

'Hello Jesse's, Jack speaking' the voice on the other end said to me.
'Oh hey, it's uh Harry, I was just wondering if you had the number of the girl who played the piano for me?' I asked Jack quietly.
'And why do you need this number Styles?' he asked me bluntly, Jesus Christ just give me the fucking number.
'I was wondering if it would be possible if I could set up a time for us to practice again' the lie just seemed to roll off my tongue, in all honesty it was necessarily a lie.
'Oh, sure Haz.'
'Cheers Jack.' I smile down the phone, I hear the rustle of his hands against the phone as he clearly balances it against his shoulder and ear, trying to find the girl's number. 'Her number is 074XXXXXXXX' I write it down underneath the number on the sticky note and stick it back upon the fridge.

'That's all I needed, cheers pal. See you soon' I say with my thumb hovering the red phone, itching to hang up.
'Wait, there's a house party we're all going to on Thursday, if you want to join. It's at Zayn's.' Ugh, I fucking hate Zayn. Plus, who party's on a Thursday?
'Yeah, uh, sure man' I try to mask my unenthusiastic attitude, but becomes hard due to the hesitation in my answer.
'Great, I'll drop you a text later then'
'Sweet, bye' I hang up before he can say something else. My 'foolproof' plan falls through immediately when I realise I don't even know her name. He only called her 'baby doll', I don't whether to shiver or cringe at the thought.

I type the number into my mobile and again, press the green phone. It rings once, twice, thr- 'He-llo' her voice rang out.
'Oh, uh hi, it's Harry' I mumble down the phone and clear my throat, trying to rid my nervousness.
'Hi Harry' her small voice replies.
'I was wondering if you could meet me tomorrow? Writer's block is hitting me hard and I'm in need of your expertise.'
'I'm busy' she answers shortly.
'Oh, okay uh, how about the day after?'
'Busy' she replies again.
'Right now.'
'I can't, I'm busy',
'I wasn't asking, I was telling you. Come to the address that I'm about to text you, I'm leaving now.' Before she can make up an excuse, I hang up. I add her to my contacts under 'Blondie' text her the address.

My phone buzzes and I see Harry's name flash up, I ignore the message as I begin walking into my bedroom I put my shoes and coat on but not before looking directly in the mirror that hung right above my bathroom sink. I checked how I looked, not that I particularly care about my appearance.

'You missed a spot' he smirks back at my reflection.
'H-how?' I stutter out to him.
'How, what doll?' his smirk taunting me.
'How did you find me?' I ask with a little more confidence. This time he begins moving closer, creeping up behind me.
'I'll always find you' he breathes against my neck, pulling my hair to the side trailing kisses up and down my neck.
'S-stop' I look away from the mirror not wanting to look at my reflection. 'Go.' I say.

'Excuse me?' his smirk disappearing as fast as my sanity.

'Did I stutter?' I say through clenched teeth.
'Pretty boy isn't here to protect you doll, you should be on your knees for me' the smile returns with a glint in his hazel eyes.
