Welcome back

Lily's POV
(Alarm goes off)
Ugh another day of waking up bright and early for school. I had to close the shades because the sun was blinding me. I honestly don't mind school, it's not like I have a very social life anyways, so might as well do something productive. All I do out of school is watch Netflix, currently watching gossip girl, and eat. It's pretty quiet in my house being that my parents work a lot and come home late. My sister and I are total opposites she's barely ever home since she's always out with her friends. As for me I'm rarely ever out with people.
       "Honey, we got to go or else you're going to be late for school!" My mom shouts from the kitchen.
        "Alright I'll be there in a minute" I replied back
I was wearing my usual white Tee and flannel outfit with my white converse. Surprising how they're still so white. After I got all my stuff in my backpack I headed downstairs to leave. My mom as always greeted me with her big beautiful smile.
" okay let's head out" my mom said.
When I got to school I noticed a group of people huddled all together in front of the doors. I decided to ignore it and just walk past. Then all of a sudden I heard someone call my name.
" Lily hey!" Said someone shouts from inside the group.
The voice sounded familiar but I couldn't pin point who it was. I then turned around and noticed this tall, dark brown haired, and green eyed boy. At first I couldn't tell who he was but then I remembered.
"Mason!" I shouted.
"Hey to you too. I thought you had forgotten about me." He chuckled and had this sweet smiled that I always loved about him.
"When did you come back?" I said smiling
"Just last night, I'm surprised my sister didn't tell you."
If you guys are wondering what he's talking about, he's talking about my best friend Jessica, who also Mason's sister. The three of us used to always hangout together ever since we were babies. That was until mason got an early scholarship to Stanford. I couldn't believe he was back, he was like a big brother to me.
"Yeah I'm wondering why she didn't tell me either."
(The bell rang)
"Well I better get to class, can't be late on my first day back." He said as he walked away while waving goodbye.
First day back? I wondered to myself. I thought he was starting college early....
