I jumped looking behind me seeing Nathan .

''I knew it would be a short amount of time before you asked ''he said .

''Today ''he said walking towards me .

''Its not what this person has against you its what they don't like that's against you'' he said .

''You killed her'' I asked shocked and hurt .

He ran and caught me wrapping his arms around mine making the escape impossible .

''Nathan let me go'' I said .

''Let me explain'' he said .

He covered my mouth'' if you won't let me explain then I will make you let me ''he said .

He dragged me to the woods letting me go .

I scooted back looking at his eyes they were black as night .

He transformed into his wolf .

''Please'' I whispered my tears running down my cheek .

Nathan's POV

I looked at her stopping she thought I was gong to hurt her . I could never do that her eyes filled with fear I stepped back showing her I didn't want to hurt her .

Sophie's POV

He stepped back .

''I'm so sorry'' he said .

I sat by the tree watching his every move .

He sat by the tree beside me .

''What's really bugging you'' I asked .

''A lot of things'' he said .

I crawled over to him laying my head on his knees .

He played with my hair'' Sophi ''he said .

''I have ''he said ''ever since I seen you your mother was sweet ''he said ''but when she was drunk she would do stupid things and the last time she was drunk she almost killed you and your brother'' he said ''now we did what we had to'' he said .
