I woke up and saw that I was beening carried by Laurance. I looked up and he was smiling.
Hey sunshine!" He said giggling while putting me down. " Sup bro." I said trying to keep a straight face. " Sup" he said also trying to keep a straight face. I couldn't take it anymore. I burst out laughing. " what's wrong with us?" I said laughing. " nothing we're perfectly normal. Everyone else is just not as cool as us!" He said. We laughed all the way home. " alright I'm going home ok!" He said " ok bye !" I said. I entered my house. " mom I'm home" I said. Should I tell my mom about my powers or whatever they are? I should maybe she knows what to do. " hey mom can I talk to you for a second?" I asked." Yeah anything sweetie" she said. " I umm I don't know how to put this... I uh I healed someone when they were in pain.." I said. " and not like a doctor. This person was in the floor bleeding and bruised up. Then one of my tears landed on this person and there was this bright light that appeared from nowhere. When the light was gone the person wasn't bleeding anymore and Thor bruises were gone." I said. " is this all that has happened to you?" She asked. I think she knows something that she isn't telling. " no, today I was with Laurance in my room and he wouldn't tell me something. I stared at him then I heard a little voice. I told Laurance what the voice said and he was shocked. He tested me and thought of a number. I concentrate and tried to make the little voice come back. It said a number and I told Laurance that number and it was correct. So I can apparently read minds." I said. " is that all" she asked. " no... I went to target with Laurance because he works there now. I was sitting in a chair waiting for him to finish. Then I decided to practice reading people's minds. I read a little girl's mind, a teenage boys mind and finally a guy with a biggish jackets mind. I read his mind and he was thinking ' you won't get caught you won't get caught you won't get caught'. Me being my curios self I told Laurance that I would be right back and I started following the guy. He started walking faster until he finally left the store. That's when him and I started running. He turned the corner to a dead end and he pulled out a gun. I put my hands up in defense and heard him pull the trigger. I thought I was dead but then I looked up and say the guy still pointing it at me. The trigger had left the gun and was in mid air. It was like everything had stopped moving." I told her the rest of the story. " you had to find out one day.." She said. " what do you mean?" I asked. " Y-your adopted. 15 years ago, I heard the doorbell go off. I opened the door to see a woman in a big jacket looking down at a beautiful baby. She handed me to you and left. I looked at you. You were in a basket and there was a note in the basket. The note said " this child has special powers. By the time she's 15 she will slowly uncover them. Please take care of her. Don't tell her about her powers until she does uncover them. Don't be afraid of her. She will never hurt a sole . That is unless she needs to for her safety. Tell her I love her and I'm sorry I couldn't take care of her." She said. She started to cry and so did I. "I'm not your child?" I asked with tears rolling down my face. " of course you are. It doesn't matter if I didn't give birth to you. It only matters that I loved you and raised you as my own." She said making me cry even harder. I hugged my mom. " do you what my birth mom looks like?" I said sniffling. " no her face was covered by a hoody." She said. " why would she leave me.." I kept thinking to myself. " I love you." I told me mom. " I love you too." She said. I walked up to my room. I took out my phone and texted Laurance.

Aph- hey are you busy?
Laur- nope just got out of the shower. Why?
Aph- I know you just got home but I was wondering if you could come over. My mom just told me something very big about my life and it's more appropriate to tell you in person.
Laur- I'll be right over. You know I'm there for you♡

Laur- no problem

Laurance got here and I told him everything.
"Wow.... So your mom knew about the whole powers thing?! Maybe if we find your birth mom she can help you out with everything." He said. " I think that's what she's soing already..." I said. " what do you mean?" Laurance asked. " remember how I told you that I was having those dreams. Maybe she's my mom and is trying to contact me through my dreams." I said. " yeah! Try to go to sleep and see if you can contact her." He said. I walked to my bed and laid down. I closed my eyes and it took me a while but I fell asleep. I was there again. With that woman. " I've been expecting you." She said. " are you my birth mother?" I said. "I see your mother told you about me." She said. " what's your name?" I asked . " My name is Irene and yes I am your mother." She said. " how can I contact you?" I asked. " you will have to learn how to use your powers to be able to find me." She said. " the reason I'm trying to contact you is to find out how to control my powers." I said. " it's not that I won't it's that I can't. I've never seen something so powerful. Yes I have powers but you are more powerful then I am or ever will be." She said. " why did you leave me?" I said. " you needed to have a normal life. Giving you up was the only way to have that." She said . Then I heard bells and everything went white. I woke up to see Laurance panicking. " what's wrong!?!" I asked. He runs up and hugs me. " WHERE WERE YOU! YOU LAID DOWN AND I TURNED AROUND FOR 1 SECOND AND NEXT THING I KNOW YOU DISAPPEAR!" Laurance says. "Laurance calm down I was here the whole time." I said. He takes a deep breath. " so what happened?" He asked more relaxed. I told him what had happened. " so she IS your mother.." He said. " Yeah, I guess she is..."
