It wouldn't be long before people discovered that one of the main Amoris had a daughter, and Anatasia knew this. She had to get her revenge before people came after her to kill her. With her marked day having passed, Anastasia knew they would succeed. The time was now ticking. With the fact that the Amoris were aliens having been revealed, Anastasia was forced to take action.

One small slip up and they'll be after me. They being the rebels, but most of all the Society and the Amoris.

Anastasia turned to Erik and whispered the three words she dreaded "stop the car!"

Erik looked at the girl, eyebrows drawn together. Nevertheless, Erik turned his eyes back on to the road and pulled his car to a stop. Once the car was set on park, Erik looked back at Anastasia who was rummaging through the bag grabbing a few pairs of clothes.

Anastasia knew she had to do things fast before she could change her mind. She grabbed a plastic bag and shoved three pairs of clothes and socks in it. Without looking at Erik, Anastasia placed her hand on the door handle. "I must go Erik. Please don't look for me. I promise that when the time is right I will find you." Her long fingers pulled on the handle letting the door open. Luckily for her, it had stopped raining long ago.

Erik rushed out of the car and to her side, his hand grasping her thin wrist. "What? Are you crazy Anastasia, you could die! Was it something I did or said? If so, I'm sorry but please Anastasia... you can't go..."

She could hear his voice cracking after every word. A lone black tear fell from her eyes. "I'm sorry..." her whisper broke Erik's heart. He was about to lose yet another person he cared about.

"Why?" his grip tightened on her wrist.

Anastasia lifted a hand and wiped the tear away, "I can't tell you now... but I promise I'll tell you next time we see each other"

Erik turned the short woman to face him, "what if I never see you again? I can't lose you Annie..." Tears now fell from the man's eyes.

Anastasia didn't hesitate in wrapping her arms around his neck.  Plump soft lips met slightly chapped ones as Anastasia kissed Erik. Erik quickly responded to the kiss with just as much passion. They didn't break away from each other for a long time. Strong arms wrapped around Anastasia's small waist pulling her as close to him as possible.

Erik pulled away slowly, his hand rubbing Anastasia's back through the material of her shirt. Their forehead's leaned against one another, eyes closed.

"Don't forget me..." Her voice cracked as she whispered those three words. Blue met hazel as both opened their eyes.

"How could I ever forget you? You bring out the best in me." A small smile formed on her lips.

As do you...

Erik slowly let the woman out of his arms. With great despair, Erik watched as she walked away from him.

"Goodbye Erik"

Countless days had passed. The Society and Amoris didn't know what to do. The chaos around them was too much for them to handle. Everyday a different member of the Amoris was found dead on the street. Everyday a different building was being burned down. Every day, a new message would be left neatly folded at their doorsteps. All of the events had one thing in common: They were signed in blood with the letter A. The news was going viral, everyone seemed to know about A, the person that was committing various crimes; crimes that harmed the Society in some way. Jonas had managed to convince Iris to hide; he feared that they would go after her next. He failed to realize that A was only going after the Amoris and that the Amoris was using the Society for their own protection.

Miles away, in a hidden facility, the Rebels were facing problems of their own. Erik had come back drunk to headquarters one night, a bottle of liquor in his hand. Tears were rapidly falling from his face, his clothes ripped and covered in blood. L had immediately rushed to his side trying to help, only to get screamed at and sent away. The following days, Erik would hide away in his room. Other rebels had proclaimed that they would hear things smashing in the room. It was obvious that Erik had reached his breaking point.

Erik could not deal with having lost yet another person he cared for. He would seat by his phone day after day hoping for a call from her, yet nothing came. The blonde man feared that Anastasia was dead. He wished to hear her voice once again.

Thomas Levine sat in his office frantically rummaging through countless papers. Every few seconds he would shout out orders to his Rebels. He wanted, no, he needed to know who the person attacking the Society was. With their help, he would get what he wanted. Thomas needed A. He planned for A to serve as a secret weapon in order to take down the society. With the society pestering his group and accusing them of being the ones behind the crimes, Thomas had no option but to anonymously work with them to find out the person behind everything. Thomas planned to later on turn on them, he just needed their help to find A. He was using them to later have them fall into their own trap. The hairs on his head had turned whiter; more wrinkles had started forming on his face.

The Rebels had no say; they were forced to work with their enemy under their leader's command. They knew that A would play an important role in their little game.

A would become their pawn.

TVs crackled to life as yet another emergency broadcast came on:

Hello, my name is Raven Evergreen and we are broadcasting live from Central. Yet another body has been found. Unlike the other bodies, this body was found decapitated and signs of torture were found upon it. The CSI is still trying to find the head to the body in hopes of discovering who the person is. Here with us today we have a witness by the name of Victor Elms. Mr. Elms, you said you caught a glimpse of the person, what did you see?

The tall man smiled weakly at the camera:

I can't really say much, but I can say this... I caught a small glimpse of the person committing the crimes. They wore a purple hooded cape over their head and their feet were bare. The only other thing I did see was long brown wavy hair.

The camera switched back to the reporter who now stood beside a short blonde girl.

This here beside me is Nicole Grace Ebner, another witness of today's crime. She has openly stated that A left a message at her home, which is located right behind us; on the message, it was instructed that she read the letter on live TV. Miss Ebner you may now read the message.

A short blonde girl stood beside the reporter. In her hands, a folded paper was grasped tightly. With a small clearing of throat, the girl opened the paper and started reading:

Put the initials of their names together for they spell out what I want.

Let's turn this into a little game; the longer that you take to show your face, the more people that will die. You know who you are and you know what I want. You have five days to unravel it all; fail to do so and the number of people dying will increase. Soon I will go after those in the Society.

Every message I leave has a hidden code and instructions attached.  I'll be waiting.

Come out; Come out, wherever you are...

~ A
