I was running. I remember that. Then everything was a blur. He was chasing me. I was frozen. I couldn't run. Then I did. He caught me, though. He grabbed my arm and took me. Or you could even say he captured me.
I thought it was a dream. I thought all last night was a dream. After I woke up, though, I knew it wasn't a dream. I was still in this room. This room that looked like a room from Pinterest or tumbler. A room that doesn't look real. My room looks nothing like this. Not even the color.
I sat there for a minute not wanting to go back to sleep; I was to scared to go back to sleep. I heard him coming down the hallway and pretended to be asleep. He walked in and shut the door.
"Brooke, I know your awake," he says. I don't move. "Brooke get up," he says sternly.
I open my eyes and look at him. I know that I shouldn't like him, because it's not right to like your kidnapper, but he's cute. I will never like him for who he really is though. He kidnapped me and I can't forgive him for that. I should never like him. I won't be like those girls on the movies, or in the books, who falls for her kidnapper. I deny it. I will not fall for him.
"Good morning, princess," he says to me and smiles. That smile could kill. He's just so cute. So hot. But, like I said, I will not fall for him.
I didn't answer. I didn't want to answer. I wasn't going to answer.
"Sweetheart, you have to answer me. I'm not gonna let you ignore me. It's not possible," he says. I look at him and he smirks.
"Actually," I say," it is possible. Because that is exactly what I am going to do!"
His face changed. His eyes, ounce soft, were now scary. Like they were ready to tear someone apart. His smile turned into a frown and his nostrils flared.
"Do you not understand what I said last night about talking to me like that? I will not hesitate to put you in the car. Or worst... I'll beat you. I will be like every other kidnapper there is out there. I wasn't going to do anything, but if you don't stop I won't hesitate to do it," he says and I can see the anger in his eyes. "Do you understand me?"
I didn't answer.
"Do you understand me?" He's yelling at me now. It scares me so I answer this time.
"Yeah, I understand," I say quietly.
We sat there for a little bit. I think he was trying to calm himself down. I hope that was what he was doing.
"Ok," he finally says,"get dressed and head down stairs." He gets up and walks out of the room.
How am I supposed to get dressed? I don't know where the clothes are. I could look in the dresser and the closet, but I don't think he'd have any girls' clothes, I think.
I go to the closet and open the door. I search for the light and turn it on ounce I find it. When I turn it on, I look around and see it's huge. It's like the closet on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2! Ok, maybe not that big, but you get the idea. I walk through the closet and see a lot of my stuff in here.
That doesn't make any sense, though. I didn't put these in here. That means he was in here while I was asleep. Oddly enough, this doesn't freak me out.
I walked around and noticed that not only my stuff was in here, but there's other stuff, too. There's a ton of jeans and shirts. There's also a lot of shoes. I look at them and see that the jeans are my size, as are the shirts, and the shoes are a size 6 1/2.
How did this guy know the sizes of my clothes.
I grab a pair of jeans and a blue t-shirt that had the words "Don't get your hopes up" on the front, and "Not everything is a happy ending" on the back. So if you put it together it says, "Don't get your hopes up, not everything is a happy ending." This shirt describes my life.
I go to the dresser and look inside it. I see the rest of my clothes. My underwear and everything else I packed.
I got dressed and open the door. I start heading downstairs and get nervous. He kinda scares me.
As I get downstairs, I hear him on the phone.
I should probably ask him what his name is.
"Yeah," a pause, signalling that the other person was talking."Ok... Yeah, I did... Did you get her?.. When will you be coming to stay?.. Ok, I'll be waiting," he hung up the phone then.
"Who was that?" I asked and he jumped. I guess he didn't know I was standing here.
"Oh," he hesitated," no one. Just a friend."
"Oh, I said," ok."
We stood there for a minute, awkwardly. I guess he got tired of the quiet and spoke up.
"So, you hungry?"
