I'm almost sixteen and I use he/him pronouns, I'm gay and I go to an LGBT+ group called "One Point Five", which is because 1.5% of the U.K. population identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual in 2013 when the group was set up. I think that figure is too low, but it's official statistics so.
To answer your question, yeah, England is nice. My family is actually American so I've lived in both places, but I definitely think England is a better place to be LGBT+.
In terms of music, I listen to quite a wide variety of stuff. Mostly I listen to rock, pop punk, and punk. I want to be in a band someday, but I don't know if I would be able to as I'm autistic and so I find it hard to form relationships with the kind of people I could start a band with. Also, I play bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, ukelele, and violin, because I prefer string instruments. I sometimes sing but I'm not very good.
I don't really watch tv, so I just watch whatever is on. I watched all of Orphan Black on Netflix last week.
I'm excited to start this pen pal thing, I love writing because it's a way of communicating that isn't face to face. Im not really a fan of talking, but when I can make friends without having to look them in the eye it just feels a lot better.
