Chapter 1: Dance party

Victoria's P.O.V

"Ugh! I've been up sense 7 AM on a SATURDAY unpacking boxes by myself and it's now 2 PM!"

Just then my stomach made a weird grumbling sound. I just realized I haven't eaten lunch yet.

"That's it! I'm taking a break!" I said to myself

"Wow... I'm actually talking to myself, how much more insane can I get" I says, talking to myself, again

'...Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Victoria Nicole Love, but everyone calls me Nicki. I'm 15 years old. My BFF is also 15 and her name is Sara Rose Jennings. I'm currently taking a break from unpacking boxes, because if it isn't already obvious my family and I have just moved into this new house. We've already unpacked everything for the rest of the house, all that's left is my room. And because of my parents job they have to work today so I'm home aloneIf your wondering what it is that they do, we'll If i knew i would tell you but i don't really know because they've always been secretive about it. I've narrowed it down to either secret spies for the government, or bounty hunters. yes i know how crazy that sounds but thats the best i could come up with. Anyway there's 1 week left until school starts and I plan on using it well.... Basically unpacking boxes the whole week'

Okay what's in the fridge?

Come on! Seriously? Just water? Ugh!

"I guess I'll be having water for lunch" I said

I'm bored.

"I'm home alone... Why not have a party!?" I said happily

"We'll a party that includes myself and a radio." I commented not as happily

'Wow, this is just sad' my brain decided to pipe up

'Shut up brain' I said

'Don't you sass me!' It snapped

'Ha, you can't tell me what to do. Sassidy sass sass sass, what do you think about that?' I taunted

'Oh no you didn't' it said astonished

'If you shut up, I'll invite you to my party' I tried to reason

'Seriously, your "party" is just you, me, and you little radio' it said

'Well,like you could do better' i piped up

'Yeah, I could. But sadly I'm stuck in your head' it said rudely

'Do you want to come or not?' I asked

'Fine' it huffed

After I finished my argument with my brain, I grabbed my radio, ran into the kitchen, and cranked it up to full blast.

"Next we will be playing 'The Way by Ariana grande and Mac miller'" the radio announcer said

"YES! I love this song!"

The music started blaring out from the radio.

"I hope I'm not disturbing the neighbors".... "Oh well, they'll get over it" I said to myself

I started dancing around like a maniac, because when you're like me and can't dance, its better to just act like your trying to dance badly... Plus I'm by myself so it doesn't matter.

So, I'm currently jumping around in circles. I turned around...

I looked across the kitchen and through the glass door of the back porch and saw..

Jacob P.O.V.

I decided to take my daily run early today.

Yep, I'm the alphas son, soon to be alpha of the Silver Comet Pack, the 2nd strongest pack in the world. Our territory is from the top of Tennessee to about the middle of Georgia. I'm 17 years old, and my name is Jacob Matthew Carter, but most people call me jake. Yes, I'm a werewolf! I'm currently running through the woods in my wolf form.

I love running in my wolf form, my paws hitting the dirt, wind in my fur, seeing the forest and everything in it from a whole different point of view, there's just something about it that makes you feel free.

As soon as my paws sunk into the dirt just inside of the tree line i felt him fully take over. Usually I'm in control when i run but today i decided to let my wolf be in control for once.

We had been running for around 2 hours so I took over and ran to a pond. when we came to the clearing i was just about to lay down and rest when the most amazing scent hit me like I had been hit by a truck. It was the most incredible scent, it smelt like flowers mixed with the smell of rain... And I loved it!

By this time my wolf was going crazy wanting to know where that scent was coming from.

'Calm down cole' I growled

'But the scent is so incredible, we have to find out where its coming from!' he hummed

'No! We can't just barge in unexpectedly. I might be the alphas son but that's just rude!'' I snapped

'Please!? You know you want to!' He persuaded

'If I do will you shut up!?' I snipped

'Yes' he stated triumphantly

'Fine' I said annoyed

I followed the scent and it lead me to a house, not surprising. There is music playing so loud I thought my super hearing was going to break, if that's even possible.

There were unfamiliar scents, but I remembered my dad saying something about new members of the pack moving here in the meeting we had earlier.

I kept on following the scent, and the music which led me to the back porch of the house. I trotted up the steps not caring about how much noise I made, because whoever it was couldn't hear a bomb over the music if they tried.

I got to the top of the steps, by now I just wanted to rip my ears off,

I look through the glass door and..

I saw her...
