Savanna's POV:
"No," I said "Jake..." But that was all I managed to say before he kicked me in the stomach, knocking the breath out of me.
He just laughed at me, laying on the ground trying to catch my breath.
"Your so pathetic Savanna!" He said still laughing. I just glared at him, "You're insane!" I yelled after finally catching my breath.
He stopped laughing and roughly pulled me to my feet, and shoved me into a chair. I tried to get up and run, but he caught me by my hair and yanked me back so hard that I fell to the floor.
It hurt.
A lot.
He again threw me into a chair, and before I could even think, he was duck-taping me to it. I didn't even notice how tight he was doing it.
"I can't believe this is happening!" I thought.
I mean I knew Jake and Izzy hated each other, but I didn't think he hated her THIS much! Could he really still be mad about her breaking up with him? That was like 3 years ago!
He must have noticed my bewildered face because he just started laughing again. He had this sick grin plastered on his face.
"Come any closer and ill smack that stupid grin off your face." I thought
"How will you do that if your hands are tied up, smart one." He retorted with that grin still on his face.
"I said that out LOUD!?!" Wow...
He just laughed in a psychotic way, that sent shivers down my spine. With the adrenaline wearing off I was starting to get a little scared. But who wouldn't be! I guess I started shaking because Jake leaned down so that his face was only a few inches from mine and started talking to me
"Are you scared of me baby? Well I'm not gonna hurt you. As long as you do what your told, you'll be just fine."
He talked so softly I almost couldn't hear him. And if it was possibly I think I was more scared now then before...

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WON'T HURT ME!?! SO TACKLING ME, KILLING MY BEST FRIENDS PARENTS, HOLDING ME HOSTAGE FOR NO REASON AND KICKING ME ISN'T HURTING ME!?!" I screamed at him.
I glared up at him and I saw the fury in his face. I should have just shut up, but me and my big mouth had to keep going
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU COULD DO THIS! YOU'RE-"
I was cut off by a slap that knocked me to the floor. I was still tied to the chair so I couldn't even defend myself as he kicked me in the head, stomach, and everywhere else. My vision was getting blurry and everything was growing dark. I heard Izzy yell something, before everything went dark...

Izzy's POV:
I can't believe Jake just killed my parents, but to make it worse he made me watch! I hate him! And now he's probably going to kill my best friend, Savanna...

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU COULD DO THIS! YOU'RE-"
I snapped out of my thoughts and gasped when Jake slapped Savanna so hard that it knocked her over, and then started kicking her until I thought he was going to kill her!
"STOP! PLEASE STOP, JAKE! YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HER!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
He kicked her one more time before cursing and walking away from Savanna's limp form. I stared at her chest looking for some movement to show that she was still alive, she can't leave me... She CAN'T!
Just as I was about to give up hope I saw the slightest bit of movement. She was still alive! I've never been so relieved in my life.
She's all I have left now...
