Blake's POV

I tasted my bitter blood on the tip of my tongue as my paws maneuvered their way through the trees that surrounded me. Weaving left and right as my mind runs cold with premeditation on murdering all 4 guys that could've been apart of this. My heart burned with rage as it could possibly be anyone, being around a marked female who hasn't mated could be torture for those with weak humans. I distrusted everybody at the moment, to be so blatantly disrespected, especially by one of my own. I had told everyone about my mates arrival, all of them knew there upcoming Luna has arrived, and some fucking mutt dares to take advantage of her heat? The fury enhanced as Hunters house came to view and once I inhaled, I could tell there were three of them in the house. My body cracked and broke back into my human form, mind linking them my arrival as I walked up the path to Hunters home. Almost immediately the three men marched out and stood in front of me, heads bowed.

"So... Which one of you decided to challenge your new leader?" A sinister smile plastered on my face as my beast was now in full control. I stalked around them as they visibly shook, predator versus prey; they could see this wasn't a game.

"Dude what are you-" James started.

"Shut it you fucking pest" My eyes shone bright red, the Alpha blood within threatening them to use disrespect again. They knew that one wrong move could be their last. "Who the fuck dares to defy their Alpha, and violate their Luna!?" I spat menacingly, bile rising at the thought of one of these scums touching my mate. Three sets of eyes widened, glancing back and forth at each other as I awaited an answer.

"Listen Blake-"

"It is ALPHA to you!" I roared, yet again cutting James' sentence off with my Alpha tone, forcing him to also bow his head again.

"Alpha, I swear we have no idea what you are talking about, we would never hurt Cat" Hunter finished for James, trying to reason with my manic mind.

"Yeah the last time we saw her was when she came home after the whole car jacking incident, come to think of it the last one to see her might be Alex..." Jason spoke up respectfully, nervously glancing at his friends as James nudges his arm.

"Woah, we don't know if Alex did anything, plus what do you mean by violate?" James added, scratching the back of his head.

I swiftly and roughly took ahold the collar of James' shirt, tugging his chest closer to mine, "How would I know you didn't touch her." A snarl shot through my lips, threatening him to confess but instead he threw his hands up.

"Alpha I swear to you as well, I would never touch our Luna, my allegiance is with you and this pack; I would never do anything to jeopardize that." James whines as he confirms his loyalty to his Alpha, but my wolf was still livid from the first interaction I had with him.

"What about when you were talking her up, saying how delicious it would be to have your lips between her thighs.." That same Chelsea smile stretched across my cheeks, my knuckles forming fists as they latched onto his shirt. Beads of sweat started to drip down his now pale face, stuttering to find words to help his case. I peaked around and noticed both Hunter and Jason's surprised faces, but they averted their eyes and bowed their heads as our eyes met. My attention came back to James, my
fist rose and hammered his jaw with a loud crack and he whimpered as he dropped to the floor. I stood back and walked around them in circles again, chuckling lightly. "Luckily I don't smell her aroma on any of you,"

"Why the hell did you punch me th-"

"Therefore-" I growled causing James to shut his broken trap. "You are all still allowed part of this pack, but only if you tell me where your little... friend is" I compromised, "and if you don't, you will be prosecuted as accomplices to the charge against your Luna" Each word was dipped in venom, and such a punishment will be ordered to death, as they all know.

"He ran out of the house in a hurry, he looked really pissed almost as if he'd change any moment. He didn't say what was wrong, just said he was going for a run." Hunter stated as his lips quivered from the interrogation.

"His usual path is by the river bank near Dusty Grove" James mumbled, holding his jaw in place.

"We're very sorry Alpha, we would never do anything to conspire against you, we can't say the same for Alex." Jason finally spoke up again, and with one last smirk, I shifted into my beast and dove into the forest. I had one thing on my mind;

Murder Alex.

Cat's POV

          I paced around the room, pissed off at how turned on I am when Blake is off his shits because of me. Morbidly pissed off on how stupid I was to let him lock me away in this room. Did I mention how fucking pissed I was?

"Fuck!" I screamed as my foot karate kicked the door, but for some reason this one wouldn't budge. What if he kills someone; An innocent person, because of me? I had to find a way out of this room, but from the barricaded windows & steel fucked door, it seems I'm gonna have to get a little nifty. My eyes landed on a vent that was located on the far right ceiling, booya. I ripped the metal vent cover off, it's gonna be a tight squeeze, but it will have to do. My clammy hands palmed the vents walls and I wiggled my way through until I saw the hallway through the nearest one. I punched downwards and let my body drop through the hole head first, diving into the floor. "Shit shit.." I kept uttering curse words while I'm laying face down on the hardwood, this just isn't my fucking week man. I groaned for a little longer and then finally made my way off the ground, coming face to face with a serious looking Aidan, and his brother Abriel. "Well hello to you too" I joked, trying to lighten the mood and or distract them from the fact that I fell through the ceiling.

"You need to go back in that room Cat." Abriel said, his voice and eyes pleading.

"I need to find Blake, he might do something he'll regret-"

"Luna, you're in heat, if we let you go out there you will attract wolves to you or distract the Alpha, you must go back to your room." Aidan commanded, his eyes not leaving mine. Abriel, on the other hand started fidgeting, eyes glowing yellow and his breath deepened while he stared at me. "Luna I'm sorry, but Alphas orders. Abriel, bring her back to the room." Aiden ordered his younger brother, to which he complied by grabbing my arm and dragging me down the hall. His firm grip on my arm shot waves through my core, the heat mixing the male touch for my mates. By the look on his face he knew I was aroused, his wolf fighting to take hold of his human form. His empty hand reached to unlock the steel door, and I turned back to see Aidan at the end of the hall watching us. Abriel brought me inside the room, the room that was filled with my aromas, and as I turned around I saw that his eyes were fully glown. A daring growl was heard but that didn't stop Abriel from lunging at me. He gripped my face in his palms and pulled me close to him, almost grinding into me. The action alone made an accidental moan escape my lips, and just in time Aidan hurriedly forced his brother off me. Abriel kept clawing to try and get to me, his wolf in full control while his brother threw him out of the room. A squeal could be heard in the hallway, then a whimper and soon after Aiden reappeared with hurt written across his face.

"Luna, my sincerest apologies for my brother. It was to test him ma'am, to help him learn more control; I didn't know he would lose all of himself." Aiden took a knee and bowed his head, but the only thing I could think of was Blake.

"Swear to me that you will never speak of this moment. For the Alpha won't won't understand or be as lenient. I know it wasn't his fault. Swear." I spoke with authority I didn't even know I had and his eyes widened.

"I can't lie-"

"You will not be lying, you will be swearing to your Luna, a promise that you and your brother will keep, until the time is right. Blake is in murderous state, we don't need more deaths for a misunderstanding. Swear to me." I stated, allowing no chance for him to argue back, and he nodded his head.

"I swear Luna" he whispered, getting up and leaving me to my own thoughts. But before he shut the door to lock me up like a bloody fairytale, I shouted one last thing:

"If you're not willing to let me out; Then go out there, and get Blake before somebody dies today."
