My Husband Cameron Dallas(Continuing)

Chapter Five

   
    Cameron came to the doorstep of my house and knocked on the door. I did not open.

    My family has a code to open the door. The code is to make beats. Just random beats on the door and be loud so that we know that it is you. I forgot that Cameron did not know that code. Obviously he didn't know. He is not part of my family...yet.

    I opened the door and saw it was Cameron. I exhaled in relief.

    "Oh hey! I didn't know it was you!" I said.

    "Uuh, you knew I was coming" he said. "I knew that you were coming, I meant I didn't realize it was you. My family has a code where you make random beats and you make loud noises." I said embarrassed.

    "I uuh, might try that sometime.?" He was confused so he put it in a statement and a question.

    "Come on in! Lets work in the kitchen!" I did not want to take a boy that I had just met to my bedroom so I thought we could start in the kitchen.

    My mom walked in the kitchen. "Hey Ellie, who is this, your new friend?" She asked. "Mom, this is Cameron, Cameron this is Christina, my mom." I said. "Oh call me mom!" She said in that annoying high pitched mom voice you hear in movies. "Do I have to call your mom, mom?" Cameron whispered into my ear. "You do if you want to make it out of my house in one piece." I answered. Cameron laughed.

    "So what are y'all kids up to?" My mom asked.

    "Just a chemistry project for class." Cameron smiled akwardly  as he looked down at his book acting like he was intelligent. Dont get me wrong. He is smart, juust not in chemistry.

    "Okay well you kids have fun, I have to go to you aunt Annie's house and go to the grocery store. Your dad is going to be at work late so you kids be good. I made dinner, popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, pineapple sclices, if you and your friend want any." She finished. "Thanks mom!" I said as she gave me a hug.

    "So do you want any food?" I asked. I expected him to say no, I just didn't want him to though.

    "No." He said calmly. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Positive!" He said. "Okay, suit yourself!" I said.

    I sat down and opened avery thick book. Thicker than those harry potter books. I didnt want to sit and teach him  while i sat and ate at the same time so I got up and got a box of goldfish just in case he got hungry. I sat it down in front of him gently.

    "Thank you." He said. "No problemo!" I said. Cameron looked at me funny. "Problemo?!" He said. "Oh yea! My sister used to say that alot and now I say it." I said.

    "How many siblings do you have?" He asked. "5 not counting me. My mom has 4 but my dad has 6. My parents had 4 together, then divorced, then my dad remarried and had 2 more kids, then they divorced, then my mom and dad got back together."

    "Wow! Very complicated!" He said and laughed. "So lets get to work. Read the entire Periodic Table of elements. Then say it all by yourself." I told him.

    He started at Hydrogen and ended at Ununoctium. Of course I let him read it from the page though. "Now try it all by yourself!" I said.

    "Hydrogen, Helium, Lithium, Berylium..." He went on from there and ended at #47 which is Silver.

    "Oh my gosh! You did it! Well not all of it but you got pretty far! Yaay!" I exclaimed. We both jumped and hugged. We both realized it got weird so we akwardly let go and sat down. I flattened out my "skirt". I wasnt wearing one, i just acted like I was.

    I kept teaching Cameron for the rest of the night. He did not learn the entire thing but he got far.

    We both started to pack up our stuff. Cameron put his bookbag on his back. I walked him to the door.

    "Okay, see you at school tommorow." I said. "Bye!" Cameron said as he walked to his car.
