"Hurry up" Mum yells from downstairs but I plainly ignor her.
I'm Ashley and I live in the UK but I'm moving to Australia. My mum and I don't have the best relationship. She hurts me and she is always drunk, she has a drinking problem. My dad died 5 years ago and since then my whole life has gone down hill. I miss him.
I became suicidal when I was eleven and I still am now. I have attempted to commit suicide twice and have failed both times. I also cut. Everyone knows me as the happy, bubbly girl but at night time I cry myself to sleep and cut.
"Ashley, we are going." Says mum.
"Okay, I'm coming" I say putting on the last bit of makeup on my wrist. Why on my wrist? I cover my cuts up using make up so no one things I'm the freak I am.

As I board the plane I tweet "Goodbye UK, hello Australia!"
My Bestfriend Anna commented "I'm gonna miss you so much bub!😔"
"It's alright, I'll be back there soon xx" I reply and quickly put my headphones on.

The plane was finally nearly landing, yay!
I check my phone for any messages. I got one from Anna saying
"We miss you so much! who am I going to throw eggs at houses with now?" and I just laughed and replied with " I miss you too! I'm sure Cal is keen."
I get a message from Blake, my other Bestfriend "I miss you so much! text me when you land xx" and I reply with "just landed, how you going? xx" and put my phone back in my bag and walked into my new home..it was big like really big.
"oy I'm going to go somewhere, keep the house clean" said my mum. It hasn't even been an hour yet and she's already going to drink.
I was unpacking things and re decorating my room until I heard a knock on the door. "hey, who are you?' I say opening the door
"oh I'm your next door neighbor, my mum made me come here and welcome you guys" said the little 14 year old
"oh I'm Ashley" I smile, introducing myself
"hi I'm jai, jai waetford" says jai. He's so cute. wait what?! cute? Ashley back off, he probably has a girlfriend anyway.
"come on in" I say
"so what school you going to?' says jai coming in
"im going to Campbell Town Performing Arts School' I say
"oh really same! you sing?" says jai
"uhmm yeah" i say
"do you mind singing for me?" says jai
"umm" I say, looking down at the ground
"you don't have to" says jai
"I will anyway" I say smiling and grabbing my guitar.
I start to sing "I won't give up by Jason mraz"
"when I look into your eyes
it's like watching the night sky
or a beautiful sunrise..." I sang up to the end of the chorus.
"wow you are amazing" says jai clapping
"ehh not really" I say laughing with him
"how bout you?" I ask
"just a bit" says jai
"can you sing for me?" I say
"umm..yeah" says jai. He sang as long as you love me by Justin bieber.
"woah your amazing"
"why thank you" says jai bowing
"belieber aye?" I laugh
"just a bit" says jai laughing with me.
