School was the same as always, boring and non-eventful. Well until he showed up, it was the middle of the day when he came to school as the "New Kid." I went into the office at lunch like always to do my daily hello's to the office lady.
"Hi, Jamey. How are you?" The office lady was in the middle of talking to Liam's mom
"Hey, I'm good. You?"
"I'm good. Would you do me a favor?"
" Yes of course"
" Can you show this young man around please? He is in you grade"
I looked over at Liam he was wearing a varsity football jacket from some school in Nevada.
"Hi. I'm Liam." He said.
"Jamey." I replied. "I'll show you around I guess."
"Okay."
We left the office and walked out into the hall to see lots of kids walking to their next class.
"Ummm its third period, lunch is over" I said to Liam.
"Okay. Uh do we go to third period?" Liam asked.
"Yeah, let's go." I said. "What's your third period?"
"Uh math with Mr. Hansen" He answered.
"Uh same. Let's go" I said.
