Flames burst up around me. The cage unwilling to open and let me out. The swelling heat came closer until I had to curl up into a ball to stop from being burnt to a crisp. I looked frantically around and saw nothing but an old straw mattress and A tray with a bowl of gruell and a cup of water. That was when it came to me. I hadn't been eating for days because the food they gave me was unbearable. I might be thin enough to slip through the bars.

I darted forward and pushed myself through. My breathing began to slow. No, I thought this is not time for a claustraphobia attack. Suddenly I could push no more. My leg was stuck. I twisted it quickly panicking because the fire had reached the cage. A spasm traveled up my leg and I clenched my teeth in agony. I slipped out and began limping as fast as I could away from the cage that had held me in there for seven years. Half my life. I was eager to see the real world. I never knew why some people in black came and took me away.

It wasn't a kidnap because they consulted Pa first. He waved at me with tears in his eyes. I was just confused and for seven more years I  have never known. Suddenly my leg gave a pang as if to remind me. Everything went black around me as I fainted unable to take the pain. When I woke up I found myself in a room. I was under a glass tube with pipes and wires sticking out. Machines surrounded me. Beeps and pings could be heard. Masked men and women wearing turqoise onezees rushed around holding pieces of paper and putting it through machines that scanned it and printed A4 pages full of diagrams and writing.

Suddenl a memory came back to me. I was in this room being studied when a man came in dressed in a suit. He yelled some orders and I was wheeled away to a room which had lots of other people under glass tubes like me. Somebody came and inserted a needle into my arm and then after that I don't remember what happened.

My heart began to beat as I remembered the previous events. I realised my leg was not hurting any more. Istared down at my leg which was bandaged up and had a small yellow paper attached to it. I streched my arm and ripped it off tearing it in the process. I connected it together and made a peculiar symbol shape thing. I tucked it in my pocket and dropped my head down onto the hard plastic sheet. A sharp poke in my arm awoke me. Fluid was going through a syringe and into my arm. Masked men and women surrounded me staring at my arm some had their hands over their mouth as if in anticipation to see what would happen. Suddenly a loud drilling noise began to start.
