"VIOLET O'RYAN!" A high pitched nasally voice echoed the class room.

I shot my head up from my desk, unaware of my surroundings, my vision was blurry and I had no idea what month it was.

Shit I fell asleep in class..Again.

"Sorry Mrs.S I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.." I said almost half the class laughing.

"That seems to be your excuse everyday, every class, EVERY TIME you fall asleep..I suggest we give your parents a call to get you a normal sleeping schedule huh?"

The though of parents made me cringe and so did Mrs.S. "Whatever."

"Principles office now, ill be down after class."

"I have to miss lunch?!" I desperately asked.

"You missed half of my lesson so..I guess so" She replied with a sarcastic smile on her face. I packed up my books in my side bag and lazily headed towards the door, before I got outside the classroom I felt rather confident so I turned on my heel and opened my mouth. "Mrs.S I wouldn't have fallen asleep if didn't you make world history such a boring subject!" And with that I walked away, knowing I would get in further trouble but honestly I didn't care, I was tired moody and I had to catch up on world history homework now.

***************

"Mrs.O'Ryan these past few weeks you've been especially out of place, I know you're not one of our extraordinary students but its not like you to act up like this." My principle exclaimed.

"Well one thanks, and two I don't know what's gotten into me. There's trouble at home and school doesn't help at all." I said keeping my head down, whenever I brought up home my face got hot and I felt..stupid. No one knew what happens at home and I'm the type of person who hates using personal reasons for sympathy.

"We called your mother about 20 minutes ago while you were waiting in the hall, and we asked her for consent and she thinks it might help-"

"What might help?" I cut him off suddenly more interested it what he was saying

"We're going to send you to the guidance counselor every Thursday fourth period, to talk about...ah whatever needs to be talked about"

"Are you kidding me!? The guidance counselor is for ninth graders or people with problems I DONT HAVE PROBLEMS!" I said standing up, it might've looked like I had problems then but I sure as hell didn't have problems on a regular basis.

"Calm down calm down." He pleaded almost looking afraid of me, I laughed internally for making my principle nervous. "Sorry" I said quietly sitting back down.

"You can wait outside my office until lunch and well discuss your behavior in class today with Mrs.Stulant."

I sighed grabbing my bag off the ground and trudging towards his door, I really wasn't in the mood for being disciplined today, it seemed like this happened everyday. I found an empty seat along the row of chairs facing the hallway, it was actually almost full of kids, which made this a little bit easier seeing as I'm not the only person who screws up in this school. I sat down next to a girl with pink hair and a ton of piercings, I was nothing like her well I looked nothing like her but we could've gotten in trouble for the same reason. "What are you hear for" I asked as cooly as I could.

"Stealing Mr.Huntining's car keys, I was planning on ditching with his car but some tenth grade rat snitched. "

"Oh wow" I breathed, we defiantly did not get in trouble for the same reason.

"How about you" She asked. I almost felt embarrassed to tell her the real reason. "I uh..I fell asleep in class, and I guess my behavior hasn't been on point lately" I said, adding a sarcastic laugh at the end. "Let me guess world history class? Mrs.Stulant gets on everyone's case for sleeping, she's a stick up the ass."
