When Marco woke up, Tom left early. He was gone. In the bed, he left a note:
"Dear Marckie:
I had a great time with you. Even in just a short moment, we had formed a bond between us. We developed our love and liking for each other. I am so happy that I met you. Thank you for being a better person to me. Thank you for being a brother, a companion, and most of all, my love. Adios amigo.
Tom."
Marco cried in sadness. But he needs to leave. He needs to go to work. He went to kitchen. The food was already cooked beforehand. He ate it and he washed the dishes. He took a bath and cleaned the entire house before he locked Tom's house. Marco will entrust his keys. He went first to Diazes.
"Oh sweetie, where have you been?"
"Mom, Dad, lo siento. Sorry for making you worry. Star, I'm sorry."
"It's okay sweetie. You are now grown-up man. You are now responsible enough for your actions. But remember that we are always here to guide you and love you."
"Aww Marco. HUUGGSS!!!!"
The four gave them a hug. His parents and Star are happily reunited.
"Have you ate breakfast today?"
"Not much."
"Here... Come with us... Have some breakfast."
"Thank you Mom!"
Marco and the three proceeded to the dining room. Lots of food were prepared at the table. They were happily eating their breakfast. Star asked Marco some questioms.
"Marco, how was Tom?"
"Uhmm. He left."
"To where?"
"Paris."
"Oh."
"Why love lasts only a day?"
"Huh? In what way?"
"Well, we were reunited for quite sometime, had a instant bond, and channeled our love and romance. But why he needs to leave?"
"Oh Marco. True love needs some space. This is will test how faithful you are to your love."
"Thanks Star. I realized even our bond is temporary, love will remain permanent."
"Of course for my BFF, I'll cheer you up. Now hurry up, finish your food, we're gonna be late."
"Oh right."
Star and Marco finished their food. They greeted goodbye to Marco's parents. Star arrived at Echo Creek School. She was late. Marco went to his office. Finally he showed up for work. He saved his career. Now he realized how formations are temporary but memories last forever. Marco continues with his usual psychological work.
