I FIGURED OUT HOW TO INCLUDE THE VATICAN IN THE PROPHECY! SO WE'RE ALL GOOD :D

Anywho, I realized that I was going off on my own and forgetting that this was a Rin X Reader, so I forgot to include the cute-and-cuddly shit that makes an X Reader awesome. SO HERE YA GO, YA CRAZY FANGIRLS.

... No it's not a lemon. Jfc what's wrong with you? You should know me by now. Who says that (y/n) hasn't already lost her innocence? Not up to me. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

(Y/n)'s POV

Everyone was horrified after that night's events, and now they're all camped in the living room, refusing to leave. Go figure, I wouldn't want to be walking on the streets after your comrade just had a gun pointed at his head. I can't exactly blame them without being a hypocrite.

Rin and I had run off to our room, glad that this was our house and we don't have to deal with sleeping arrangements.

"Intuition, huh? Sounds like you got that idea from the manga that Aero gave you," I cringed at her name. After she'd disappeared, Leva ran off without giving so much of a clue of where he was going. His azure eyes saw the pain in my (e/c) irises, and he instantly regretted slipping her name, "I know it's painful that she's gone. I miss her, too. You're not alone," Rin wrapped his arms around my waist, gently pulling me against his chest.

From the moment we found those two in that alleyway, I could sense the bond between them. They seemed to be more like brother and sister than I and Leva were in the first place, despite Aero being a demon. They seemed to helpless kids, one of which was under a false name.

False name?

Irritated by the whole concept of the prophecy, I pulled away from Rin's embrace and ran my hands through my hair. None of it makes sense. Even if Leva was a part of this, he's missing. I already know the reason for his disappearance, but I need to get over the past and focus on the present.

"(Y/n), maybe it isn't about us? You need to relax about it, ok? Nothing's gonna happen to either of us, I promise."

"Rin, just stop! You couldn't possibly know whether it is about us or not!"

"And you don't know that either." Rin spoke in a gentle voice, understanding that I was emotionally unstable and even the smallest thing could set me off.

"Then why is this voice telling me that we're all a part of the prophecy?! Why would it be wrong?!"

"Voice? What voice? What are you talking about?"

"The one telling me that we're all a part of this! What else would I be talking about?! Rin, we're all involved in this and there's no way of changing it!"

I could feel Rin's sapphire gaze on me, unsure of what he could say to comfort me. So instead of speaking, he once again pulled me against him, this time his grip tight as if he were unwilling to let me stray from him. In fact, I could basically feel his fear radiating from his body.

He's scared. Scared to the point that he could break at any moment. But he doesn't collapse under the pressure. He stays strong, not letting his anxiety show.

It almost makes me worried to leave him alone.

"Rin?" The bedroom was quiet, deathly quiet. When I looked down, Rin's tail was frozen in place. His attention was focused on our window facing the road, "Rin, what is it?"

He refused to let me turn around, his bright eyes wide with terror.

There was a small knock on the door, before I heard the doorknob twist.

"Hey Rin? (Y/n)? Are you guys okay? We heard some yelling from-" Shiemi suddenly cut off with an earsplitting shriek, her eyes swimming with sudden tears. I pushed away from Rin, turning to the window.

The glass was splattered crimson with blood.
