Fighting

My family's broken,
Torn in two.
Doubt turned to anger,
And from it hatred grew.

I try to hide,
Behind this broken mask
Do you believe my smile,
Do you believe my laugh?

There's something missing,
From my heart
It pierces through me,
Like a dart.

I put up a barrier,
I grin and joke
Can never show,
How bad I'm broke.

I love them all,
But they'll never see
Just what their fighting,
Does to me.

Won't take a side,
I won't choose
I don't wish for either side
To loose.
