The Day We Met.

Slow calm steps took the boy back over to where he departed from his mother. While he made his way over, Azin's mother continued to make small talk with the young girl. Dark brown hues locked onto the expression upon her face. In response to her awkward level of happiness, he began to shiver. Perhaps it was the slightly cold brush of air against his bare arms which dangled at his side as he walked. However, it was neither of those.

Instead the male was a bit shy and not sure about how to greet the girl or even talk to her. Within his mind Azin thought about many ways to say hi, overthinking the simplest of situations as usual. Before he knew it his body came to a stop, both feet grounded themselves on their own. There was no more time to think, the time for action came before a decision was made. A quick glance shot towards the girl before both eyes found his mother just as quick. Everyone was in a good mood, a smile on their faces. Azin was the only odd one out, as usual.

"Azin, remember my friend who I told you about, Aunt Charmaine's friend?" His mother said, her tone calm and pleasing to the ears despite her words not being the same. "Well this is his daughter who I was telling you about who also goes to this school." She finished, not allowing him to even register the question in his mind. His mother fixed her lab coat before gesturing a hand at the girl beside her.

Azin looked his mother up and down, as if analyzing her for some sort of disease. He never understood why she was so happy. Before he could place his eyes back on her face a hand came towards his cheek. Naturally sharp nails, grown over the years and turned into weapons of mass destruction, gripped onto the flesh caught in between them.

"Hmm." He groaned, not sure of why he got what he had gotten.

The boy's look remained the same however, expressing little to no care for the situation. Of course his mother was displeased as always, showing irritation upon her face. The way her eyebrows arched which caused her oval lens glasses to tilt down, along with the arrangement of her lips which made her cheeks puffed out even more than usual, got the anger in her mahogany eyes overlooked. This always made the male muffle a chuckle. She did first, however.

"Hmm?" Mother and son said in unison, acknowledging the girl who had been there all along. Both of them blinked together, unsure of what to do or say about the audience's laughter.

"Oh." The girl said, unaware that they noticed her laughter. She bit both lips and rolled them over while she glanced at the two.

The girl was faced towards the sun, which made her eyes appear light brown. Her hands reached back to fix her bun and then tucked her shirt down a bit more into her skirt. Then they moved to fix the straps of her jungle themed Nike backpack and a Puma sports bag. One was obviously over-packed with books and the other filled with bottles of cold liquid, probably water.

"Hi!" She said with a wave of her hand and a slight rock to the side. A smile upon her face, closed lips. The girl might of tried to hide her missing teeth, about one or two from the front row which could never be overlooked. And like a model she held her pose. Her eyes locked onto him while she waited for a greeting.

Instead of saying anything, Azin just looked at her. Maybe it was because he didn't notice she said something, or perhaps was mesmerized by her looks. It was neither however. Instead as usual various thoughts rushed through his mind as the male was analyzing her.

Her feet were small and covered by white silk socks which stopped at her nubby knees along with ballerina like shoes with a cheese bottom. The girl's red and white school skirt greeted her nubby knees, giving not a single peek at her legs. Her white shirt hugged her body just a bit, showing a developed and well-rounded bosom. A handkerchief like tie was fastened around her collar. A small tennis ball sat on her neck. Upon it was thick lips, thickly thin eyebrows, a cute little nose, and dark brown eyes were drawn on them. The colors mixed in well with her dark brown skin, but probably looked a bit different through her rectangular lens attached to dark blue, light blue trimmed straps.

His eyes remained in one spot, locked onto hers as she had now posed for a second or two. Not enough time to make the situation awkward. Not until he responded to her friendly greeting with a simple wave of his hands. No words spoken.

"A-..." His mother tried to call his name, but the sound of the school bell intervened.

The girl stood there, bringing her pose to an end. She stood there, listening to the sound of the bell along with his mother. However while the two females appeared to be stuck in time, Azin knew he had other things to do now. He gave his mother a kiss upon the cheek, knowing she'd ask for one. Even though he didn't like it he gave her one anyways. He waved at her as well before he disappeared in the crowd of students walking towards class.

Hello, Back Again As Promised.

Woke up out of my sleep after a phone call just to publish this piece, hope you enjoyed it. Had to get this in before tomorrow, because I did say would try to get more out, at least three, for this week. Hopefully it isn't rushed or seems that way. Got myself an editor, which makes this whole book thing easier. Anyways, have fun reading and hope to make you come back again for the next chapter. If you do, thank you. If you don't, it is what it is. ByeBye.
