Sadie was already part of a wealthy family, and they often splurged on her. The year she was born, a marvelous theater was built in Chicago. Sadie's parents took her to it on her 3rd birthday, and she enjoyed the production very much. She beamed with delight at the fictional aspects, and the way the actors danced around.
Many times that year, they returned to the Paradise Theatre, as her parents were in favor of her interest of it.
