Survivor- Lily Potter [Teaser]

Prolouge.

"Lily, it's him! Take Harry and go!" James said. "I'll handle him!" Lily didn't hesitate. She grabbed her son, and made for the stairs.

"James, I love you!" she cried. James nodded, briefly kissed her and pushed her up the stairs. Lily ran upstairs. She coverd her ears but nothing could block out the sound of Voldemort's cold laughter.

"Avada kedavra!" the cold voice hissed it. The spell was laced with venom and laughter. Lily heard footsteps slowing as they neard the door to Harry's bedroom. Voldemort laughed as the door fell off it's hinges. Lily screamed in shock.

"Not Harry! Please, not Harry!"

"Step aside!"

"No! Not Harry, please! Kill me instead!"

"I have no use for filthy Mudbloods like you,woman!" Voldemort sneered. Lily shrank back slightly. Voldemort stood in front if her child. Her last piece if James other than the ring on her finger. She was now crying.

"Avada kedavra!" Voldemort shouted again. The room filled with a green light and Lily ducked behind Harry's cot. As this happend, several bricks fell down. Lily felt a sharp pain and then it was peacful...

"James! No! JAMES!"

Lily woke up her head was aching. The voice that was crying downstairs startled her. And then she remeberd. Her heart plumeted to the ground. She heard footsteps going down stairs.

"What about Lily and Harry?" the voice asked. Another voice could now be heard.

"Harry's alive," Lily's heart beat slowed a little. "But Lily..." the second voice broke off. Lily got up; this was an effort beacause of all the bricks on top of her.

"Remus." she croaked.

"What the-" Remus spun around and his face lit up. "LILY!" he screamed, engulfing her in a rib-cracking hug worthy of Hagrid.

"DID YOU SAY LILY?!" Sirius's matted black hair came into view as he ran into Harry's room. He hugged Lily who began crying on his shoulder. Remus and Sirius left with Harry and Lily walked into the living room. She found her husband lying on his front peacefully. Lily leant beside him, flattening his unruly hair with the tips of her fingers.

"Oh, James. What am I going to do now?" she whisperd into his lips as she kissed him one last time.

"Lily?" Remus came back in and offerd his hand. Lily took it and the truth hit her in the face.

James was dead. He died saving his wife and his child. Nothing was going to be the same again.

Im almost in tears from writing this! Dx. Hope you like it, I ship Jily so bad *Hehe* it's untrue. I think James is a git, but I see why Lily fell in love sooo...
